Party Next door

MAIA'S POV

It's already the day of the party and Rydel texted me that the party started at 7 so I should get ready. I took a shower and put on a dress and some sandals. I let my hair down and waited for Arch to come.

Ding-Dong. I ran straight downstairs and opened the door.

"Arch why did you ring the bell!" I said pulling him away
"What! Do you not want me to meet your parents?" He said
"No because they will kill you!" I said
"The party is next door?!" He laughed
"Yes" I knocked
"You look pretty good tonight" Arch said grabbing my lower waist
"Thanks but don't go too far" I said

Rydel opened the door

"Hey the party is in the basement lets go" Rydel lead us there and there were so many people
"Wow this is awesome" archer told Rydel
"Thanks now have fun! Do you guys want beer or any drinks?" Rydel said
Wtf beer?
"No" I said
"Yeah" Arch went to the bar they had

Omg great my boyfriend is going to be drunk. I followed him and then I saw Ross headed out.

"Archer I'll be right back I'm going to the restroom" I said
"Okay peace" he said walking away with beers

I followed Ross and he was walking into a garage. Is it weird that I'm following him? I mean I just want to say hi so that's not bad I guess.

"Hey Ross?" I said
"Maia! You scared me haha what are you doing here?" He asked sitting down
"Came to see you. I mean.. like to say hi" I smiled
"Well hey" Ross picked up his guitar and started to play
"So aren't you going to go and have fun?" I said running my fingers through his hair
"With beers and alcohol? Nah I mean the music is good but no I'm just going to perform that's pretty much it" he said putting his guitar down
"Oh come on let's just go see what the party is like we can even dance yeah?" I begged him
"But won't your boyfriend get mad?" He asked. Like I care.
"No come on." I pulled him and we went downstairs

ROSS'S POV

I had to do this for Maia. I decided to go party and have fun. We danced to a few songs with a group of her friends and it was cool. An hour later Maia was concerned where Archer was so we went out to go look for him. I told Ryland to help since he knows who he is and actually talks to him still.

"Let's check this room" I opened the door and there was Archer making out with another girl. I felt pretty bad for Maia but at least she knows what kind of guy he is.

"Maia! It's not what it looks like" Archer yelled.
I ran after Maia and tried to slow her down.
"Maia stop!" I said
"Ross! He's cheating on me" she cried
"I know he is!" I said
"Maia baby I didn't mean too!" Archer said pulling her towards him.

"Leave her alone you player!!" I pushed Archer back
"Hey back off dumbass its not my fault all girls want me!" He yelled

Looks like he's the dumbass now.

"You've been cheating on me?" Maia cried
"No!! No Maia I haven't" he said
"Stop lieing!!" I was tired of him.

I ran up to him and punched him right in the eye and he knocked out. He fell right on the floor so I punched him again on the cheek.

"Ross!!" Riker me pulled back.
"Now you fuck off" I yelled to Archer.
"Ross cool off upstairs!!" Rocky took me out of the basement
"But that was pretty cool though" Ryland laughed

I left upstairs and locked my room.
I'm kind of happy that I got to punch him in the face today. All my anger went out on him so that's pretty good. He's the one who stole my girlfriend a year ago and he did it on purpose. But I mean I didn't really like the chick because she was kind of a slut so eh.

The problem is Maia might hate me because I did that to her boyfriend or her ex. I hope she's not mad.

About 45 min I heard something hitting my window constantly. I unlocked it and slid the window and I saw Maia right across my window.

She held a paper up 'slide the window lol' we both smiled

I got a piece of paper and wrote on it 'Lol are you mad?'

She shook her head no and I saw her writing on the other side of the paper
'Wanna hang?'

Then I held up another sign 'meet me on the sand in 5 min'

I got my shoes and a blanket. Our houses were seriously right next to the beach so we could jump our backyard and the sand is right there.

I saw her standing next to her gate and I walked over to her.

"Thanks for the scene" she said
"Oh uh anytime but you know he's a jerk" I said
"Yeah" she looked down

we talked for an hour straight and I got to know more about her. I noticed her shivering.
"aussie are you cold?" I said to Maia
"Kind of?" She said
"Well it's your lucky day" I put a blanket around us and we looked out at the waves. It felt pretty good. I turned my face and saw Maia looking at the waves. She is so beautiful. She turned and we made eye contact for a few seconds but she looked away.
