Cassis' P.O.V.

"If you are coming to the doctor's appointment, we are leaving now!" I called up the stairs.

"Coming!" Gabby yelled.

"Avery, will you start the car?" I asked.

"Yes, love," he said, kissing me on his way to the front door.

"Markie?" I said, coming into the kitchen. He was standing in front of the sink looking out the window. "Are you coming to the doctor's appointment?"

"Yeah. I'm coming." he turned around and I could tell he had been crying. He faked a smile and tried to walk out of the kitchen, but I stopped him.

"Markus, I will do everything in my power to make you happy. If you want to eat ice cream and watch cheesy movies, we can do that. You don't have to tell me twice." I laughed.

"Cassi, I want you to just take care of yourself. I don't want you to worry about it at all. See, I'm fine." He gave me a thumbs up, then a kiss on the cheek. "Do you want to take separate cars?"

"No, Its okay. I think Gabby and Felix are taking their own car, but you can ride with us if you want."

"Yeah, I can do that." he said. He left the kitchen and I was left standing in the middle of the room by myself.

I know I didn't show it, or I hope I didn't, but I was scared. I wanted my mom. She had Lacey when she was only 18, and she would know what to do. I was going to keep it of course. I just wish I had her to tell me it was going to be okay, to tell me that I was going to get through this.

"Cassi! We're ready!" Gabby skipped into the room, "Hey, are you okay?"

"What?" I hadn't noticed the tears forming in my eyes, "Oh, yeah. I'm okay." I laughed, wiping the tears from my eyes.

"Hey, it's okay. Do you want me and Felix to stay? You and Avery haven't really had any time alone since before."

"No, I want you to go. I need my second mom for support." I didn't want to tell her this, but I wanted Felix to have the chance to see the baby for the first time.

She laughed, and then hugged me. "Okay, well I think Avery and Markus are waiting in the car. We'll meet you over there."

I followed her out the door, and got in the car that was behind hers.

"Ready?" Markus asked, more excited than he was when I had talked to him earlier.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I sighed. Avery took my hand, then backed out of the garage.

"Well, are you guys ready?" Dr. Michaels asked.

"Yep!" I laughed, pulling my shirt above my belly.

"Do you know how far along you are?" he asked.

"About a month." I said. I knew it right away. It was the only possible way it could be Felix's.

"That's great. So we shouldn't actually be able to see the baby yet, but we will be able to hear the heartbeat." He put some goo on my stomach, the put the ultrasound machine on it. "So who is the father?" He asked, pausing his work to listen.

"Well, uhm-"

"It's Avery." Felix interrupted me, patting Avery on the back.

"Well, the babies' heartbeats are perfect." he said.

"Wait, what?" I asked. "Did you say babies? As in two of them."

"Yeah, didn't you hear the beats? There are two of them. Here, listen." He put the machine on a spot where you could hear them very well. Sure enough, along with the sounds of my stomach, were two little beats.
