It had been a while, though the two weren't surprised it took so long to get ready as they heard from a robot that had left Gary's room that Gary kept changing clothes over and over- insisting he'd make "a good first impression"

When the blond finally came down, however, the effort seemed to be worth it.
Quinn and Avocato had only been watching TV in the waiting area, their team long finished, when Gary finally came down, the sound of his heels catching their attention first.

He wore a pale pink suit with black pump heels, the buttons on his suit black as well in order to match. Under his blazer was a black top that covered a bit of his neck, accessorised with a silver necklace that carried a rose quartz, going well with the suit.
His hair was sleeked back, calling attention to his long silver earrings that matched with his watch and rings. The makeup on his eyelids was a hot pink fading into his black eyeliner, his lips a shade darker than his natural tone in a more glossy manner.

"Is it...ok like this?" Gary asked a bit nervously, holding his small black handbag awkwardly

"Of- Of course" Quinn stood "you look amazing" she complimented with a smile.

Gary chuckled shyly, brushing his hair back before he glanced at Avocato who had stayed quiet. Was it perhaps too much? Not enough? Goodness Gary didn't know--

"Agh--" Avocato winced as Quinn kicked him once Gary wasn't looking, finally getting out of his daze. He stood with a huff and turned to face the door, his back to Gary as he scratched the back of his neck

"You...you look ok" he cleared his throat after, embarrassed

"Please don't forget I can give you a raise if you compliment me" he heard Gary say and quickly turned to try giving a better compliment only to find the blond was suddenly too close, his blue eyes looking curiously at Avocato before he grinned

"Just kidding" he showed his tongue as he stepped back "Quinn wins for this one! Do a better job next time Avocato" he giggled, making his way out

"W-wait--" Avocato reached out but made no effort to catch up, watching Quinn follow her boss and glancing back at him with a confident smile.

Grumbling, Avocato finally followed them watching one of the SAMES place a huge jacket on Gary's shoulders while another handed Quinn a bag with Gary's work in it. One of the SAMES came over to Avocato then, handing him a lacy black umbrella for him to hold as it was raining outside.

Avocato carefully opened the umbrella once he was out, holding it for Gary to step out as the car for them was ready for them.

"You look pretty" he said quietly, Quinn far enough not to hear them now. He avoided Gary's eyes, looking the opposite way with clenched teeth.

"...are you trying to save your paycheck?" The blond asked, tilting his head

"Wh-- no" Avocato turned to him before looking ahead "just..." his ears lowered slightly, unsure how to make the other believe him that he was genuinely trying to tell the truth.
A giggle made his ears oerk up once again, glancing from the corner of his eye, Gary had began to laugh. His gloved hands coming to cover his mouth as he laughed to himself before finally looking up at Avocato once they've reached the car

"I understand" he smiled softly "thank you"

"Uuuh...dad?" A girl awkwardly said, knocking on the door but coming in anyway

"Not now- can't you see I'm with an important guest" Clarance shooed her away.

Certainly so, Clarance was sat in front of a lady who looked important- She wore jewels in every possible place and her dress, although design to be casual, it called a lot of attention.
She huffed, finding it rude for the girl, Clarance's daughter, to interrupt their meeting, in front of them piles of papers and notes of designs- Ash recognised some of the drawings on it, they were papers her father had brought after visiting Mr Goodspeed.

"I-its really important" Ash decided to insist for the good of her own father

"What is it?" Clarance sighed heavily

"We have a...guest?" She pointed out the door, unsure who the new lady(?) was

"What?!" Clarance stood suddenly "already??" He panicked, putting everything away

"What are you doing" the woman who sat in front of him spat, offended the other would pack away despite her presence

"I didn't think he'd actually--"

"Hello!" A cheerful voice called sweetly "Good morning, I hope I am not interrupting"

Entering the room guided by her brother, were two humans and a ventraxian. The dark skinned human and ventraxian wore black suits, the woman having her shirt tidy with a tie while the other had the top of his shirt open.
In front of them, was a blond human. Their voice a bit too deep to be a female's but their getup told Ash otherwise.
Where the woman that had been having a meeting with her father was quite rich looking, this person seemed to be wearing a good quality suit that didn't cream money- what screamed money was the way they gracefully smiled as though this were their own  home and everything belonged to them.

"O-oh!" Clarance jumped, closing the notes just in time "no- no, course not" he said through clenched teeth

"Thank goodness!" The blond human laughed "this nice young man showed me the way in but I was worried I might have been late" they said, gesturing to her brother who had come to join her side awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck when his father sent him a glare.

"Oh my--" the human blinked "I didn't think you'd be the guest here Mrs Dewinter" they said a bit apologetic "please excuse my rudeness, work...you know?"

"Yes..." Mrs Dewinter stood, seeming to not enjoy the new company "Work" She extended her hand in a way as if telling the other to kiss her hand.
The blond human looked down at her over accessorised hand before smiling, taking it and giving it a good shake, an oblivious foolish smile on their face causing Mrs Dewinter to cringe

"Err- Fox!" Clarance called "mind showing Mrs Dewinter to her room?"

"Yes da-- Boss" Fox nodded, gesturing for the lady to follow him out of the room.

The reaction was quick, the blond snapping his neck back with an excited gasp

"That was Fox? Which means..." they turned "You're Ash?"

Ash froze at the sudden attention, her posture turning tense as she looked at her father for help. Did her dad talk about them when working? That's swe--

"Ash, leave us, will you?" Clarance waved his hand

"Y-yes" she nodded, speed walking out of the room as she heard the human complain behind the closing doors

"Oh come on! I wanted to meet them so bad!!"

"Ash?" Her brother's face popped up from a corner near the hall where the guest rooms were located "do you know who that was?" He said a bit nervously

"No" she shook her head, sighing as she was glad to have a break from socialising "why you let them in if you didn't know who they were?" She began to walk towards their room

"They seemed nice" Fox said with a sigh, disappointed in himself "plus- it was like I didn't have a choice"

Entering their rooms, they squeezed in. It was dark and small, located practically in the in the basement...
There were cracks on the walls and spiderweb they still needed to clean but got no time due to their work

"Let's just get work done with" Ash sighed, taking her apron to begin cleaning the kitchen upstairs

"Yeah.." Fox nodded, turning so Ash could tie his apron for him.

None said a word, not a complain...despite both of them being tired from the little sleep and the overly busy schedule their father gave them.
