Serenity POV

"Grand dad?" I said walking inside of his room in the nursing home, and he was laying down watching TV.

"Is that my lil girl?" He said and we both smiled.

"Yep" I said.

"Get over here, I haven't seen my baby in so long" My grand dad said and I walked over to him, leaning down to give him a hug.

"I know, I'm so sorry." I said.

"Oh it's okay, I know you have a life." He said chuckling.

"Yes but I gotta make time for my grand dad." I said and he smiled.

"Did you get my gifts?" My grand dad asked.

"What gifts?" I asked.

"The roses. And your brand new safe" He said and my eyes widened.

"Wait- You sent those?" I asked.

"Yeah I had Clevon drop them off but he said each time he came, you weren't there" My grand dad said.

"Oh my gosh! Grand dad you never left a name on those notes, I had no idea" I said laughing.

"What?? I told Clevon to leave my name on them! He wrote everything for me. That nigga never listens." My grandad said.

"It's all good. I'm just glad I know where they're from now, thank you grand dad for that." I said giving him another hug.

"No problem baby girl, I know you've been going through it. Everybody online has something to say so I just wanted to do something nice." He said.

"That is so sweet. How'd you find out about the safe and what happened to the old one?" I asked him.

"Oh, your mother told me" He said.

"Oh, okay. Well I'll definitely be putting it in use" I said with a smile.

"Good, good." My grand dad said and I grabbed his hand.

"You know.. I had the most ridiculous thoughts during this. I thought it was Ja'Von sending those, I thought somehow he could still be alive" I said.

"Oh wow, I'm so sorry. I'm gonna get on Clevon's ass for not listening" He said and I laughed.
