Rafe and I started having fun with our fake relationship over the past week. We hung out a lot. Today Rafe came over to my house. We sat against a tree in my backyard. I was finishing up some homework on my laptop and he was scrolling through his phone. "So Rafe, do you have any other hobbies besides scrolling through your phone all day?" I asked. "I've been volunteering at the Kildare County animal shelter lately." He replied which made me giggle but then I realized he wasn't joking. "Oh. That's fun I guess." ". Hey, if we ever really start dating , we should get a dog together." He said while taking a sip of water. "Yeah. That would be nice."
Later that day I got a call from Kie while I was sitting in my room. "Kelsey! You didn't tell me you were dating Rafe fucking Cameron!!" Kie squealed on the other line. "Oh... yeah! But how did you find out? I've only told my parents." "Have you not seen all of Rafes Instagram stories! That's kind of badass though. I'd kill to see Sarah's reaction." "I don't go on Instagram a lot but yeah. He's a nice guy." I said "Are y'all going to Midsummers together?" Kie asked. Shit. I completely forgot about midsummers so instead I said, "I think so. Maybe. Im not sure yet. Anyways, who are you going with?" "Well... I've been talking to JJ Maybank." "Kie, he's a pogue!" "I know alright! But look at him.
