"Okay boys, important stuff coming up so i want your full focus and attention on training for the next week, as you guys know, we have the game against Hungary next week so we want to work hard" My dad said sternly to the boys
"No distractions, no lateness, i want you to all work hard, understood"
A chorus of the boys agreeing sounded and my dad nodded.
"I picked you guys for a reason so prove to me you deserve to be here" My dad said and i smiled, i know he was so proud of the boys
"Okay as you guys have probably established, my daughter Amelia will be working with us for a while, any concerns you might have go to her and she will bring to me, she will be here for water bottles, running about and what not, she's also away to train in sports massages to help Hollie" My dad said
"Dad it's Amy, how many times" I groaned and he shook his head jokingly at my reply
"Anyways boys i have to warn you all, no funny business with her and i mean that" My dad said and i rolled my eyes
"Dad really!" i rolled my eyes as all the boys chucked.
"No promises Southgate" John said jokingly making all the boys agree "i'm joking i'm joking"
"I mean it" My dad said sternly and i rolled my eyes, Jack sent me a grin, which i returned.
"Okay let's get started, you know the drill, i'm gonna split yous into groups of 5, Amy i'm gonna need you to watch a group as we're a leader short but you won't have to do much just supervise" Gareth said and i grinned
"haha i get to boss yous around" I said jokingly
"pray for whoever is in that group" Pickford joked.
"Okay first group is Sam Johnstone, Trent, Conor, Reece and Kyle, you guys are with James today" Dad said motioning them to a man
They all made their way over and went to their section of the pitch.
"The next group is Patrick, Nick, Jordan Henderson, Raheem and Luke" Dad said "yous are with Michael"
"Next group is Kalvin, Jordan Pickford, Kieran, Dominic and Harry Kane, please go join Elise"
"Jude, Mason, Declan, Jesse and Bukayo, yous are with Amy" Dad said
"Get in, we definitely got the best team" i said and the boys cheered and we went over to our bit of the pitch
That leaves Jadon, Harry maguire, Tyrone, John and Jack with Dad.
"Okay not gonna lie boys i have no clue what i'm doing so just do your thing" i said and let them do their training.
My eyes scanned the pitch and landed on a certain Jack, he was doing lunges while breathing heavily obviously tired, he looked sweaty but it suited him, his hair back in his headband.
He looked over and caught me looking at him, i quickly looked away and looked back to see him smirking at me now standing with his arms folded.
I looked away quickly
The boys continued to train for a while, me giving them random stuff to do
"So Amy, when do you start ur massage stuff" Mason asked me and sat next to me as they were having a break
"This afternoon i think, apparently a few people are booked in to get massages so hollies gonna train me" i said and he nodded
"yeah i'm booked in, pretty sure it's John and Jude also booked for today" Mason said while thinking
"what about me?" Jude said popping out of nowhere
"booked for a massage this afternoon?" Mason said
"Oh yeah, it's me, you, stonesy and jack" Jude said
When he mentioned Jack my heart dropped, he's definitely gonna try to annoy me or tease about me staring
"Oh yeah great" i said smiling slightly
"The best people to start off with" Mason said
"Hey i'm not there so clearly not" Declan said also coming out of no where, i raised my eyebrows
"How does the gaffer feel about you giving loads of men massages?" Jude asked
"I've already had the 'stay away from the boys and no distractions' chat, he's really concerned i'm gonna end up in a situation" I said and they all laughed
"Don't blame him, half the boys here would love to make a move on you" Declan said
I scoffed "i'm sure they would" i said sarcastically
"i'm not joking, maybe ask Mase here" Declan's said shoving Mason making Masons eyes widen
"oh shut up Dec" Mason said and shrugged it off
I looked at them confused before shrugging and pulling my phone out to go on instagram, i scrolled through my feed for a while before someone sat next to me
I looked up to see Jack and he sent me a smile
"you on a break?" i asked and he nodded
"Gutted i wasn't in your group" Jack said
"I'm sure you will survive Grealish" I said and patted his shoulder
"Second name basis now?" Jack said "don't act like you didn't desperately want me in your group"
"I like my group" I said and he looked at me and raised his eyebrows
"be better if i was there" Jack said and i smiled
"nah" i said and he shook his head smiling
"see you this afternoon anyways" Jack said and glanced at me
"oh yeah since you have a massage booked, what's it for anyways" i said
"told ya Amelia, i got a wonky leg" Jack winked
"it's Amy" i said and groaned which made him laugh
"Amz you coming?" Mason shouted and i nodded and turned to jack
"guess that's me" i said and went to get up
"Amz eh?" Jack said and i smiled
"Least he didn't call me Amelia, should maybe try it sometime Grealish" I said and ruffled his hair
"Ooiiiii" he groaned and pouted, i just smiled and walked back to the boys in my group
"did jack just let you mess up his hair?" Declan asked and i shrugged "he never lets anyone"
"I must be special then" I smiled and turned back to jack to see him staring this way, i saw his eyes catch mine and then look away
I smiled to myself
"look at you all smiley, wonder why?" Jesse said to me so no one else could hear and then started training again
I gave him the finger and then turned to see Jack gone.
Honestly Jesse, i wonder why too.
