After the Final War

Chapter 9

Ginny's POV

This morning Harry said he would go shopping today so I can have time with Teddy since yesterday it was the opposite. This morning I made me some toast and fried eggs and I got Teddy some baby food peaches. He hasn't had a problem about eating. Yet he isn't a fat baby either. Mom and dad bought Teddy,me, and Harry matching pjs that say "love your family" but since Harry isn't here Teddy and I will just match today. I brought the playpen downstairs in the living room where we will be so he can play while I look for jobs in my laptop. I haven't found anything that I think I am interested in yet, but when Hermione was talking about becoming a Transfiguration teacher I really felt like that might be something that I want to do. Know what I will go up to Hogwarts tomorrow and talk to Professor Mcgonagall about it. I talked to Harry last night and he said it would be a great opportunity and as if the moment he thinks that he might be interested in working at Hogwarts also as the defense against the dark arts teacher. I think I am speaking for everyone but he would know that job better than anyone else. He could teach about his experiences and everything, but then where would Teddy go... Maybe I could talk to mom about her coming over here in the morning or the other way around until we get back. I just feel guilty about doing that, but then agin she loves Teddy. I picked Teddy up out of the playpen and threw him up into the air and caught him he started laughing. The only reason I knew he would is because I watch Harry do it sometimes. I say on the ground with him and picked up a stuffed plush snitch and handed it to him. He likes to cuddle and sleep with it. Sometimes I watch him sleep. Not to be creepy but because he looks so calm and peaceful it seems almost unfair for him to have to go through with this thing called life. I sat him on the floor and so maybe he would try and roll over. I did it a few times to try and show him. He just sat there on the floor looking at me like I just sprouted another head.i picked him up still sitting on the floor and sat him on my lap facing me and then he reached out a just touched my cheek. When he did I felt warmth and love spread without my whole body. "wow..." I think he has what wizards call a loup. When someone has a loup it means that when they touch anywhere on the face you can feel their emotions and feelings. Its very rare and some of the most impressive wizards have them. I wonder if Harry knows about it. Im sure he doesn't, if he did he would have told me about it. I will tell him when he gets back. Teddy and I are about to go down to the burrow because I think mom and dad are missing me and Teddy and I want to tell them about Teddy's loup. I am going upstairs with Teddy in my arms and I will change him into something warm because its cold today, get his diaper bag, and change him real quick so maybe I won't have to when we get there. I was in the middle of changing Teddy when I heard the Floo. Then I heard Harry coming up the stairs. He walked in the room and said "Hi honey." "Hey babe" then he walked over and passionately kissed me on the lips. It would have gone further if in the middle Teddy started clapping. Harry didn't pick him up considering that I still hadn't put a diaper on him yet so he just blew on his belly and gave him a kiss on the forehead. I got him changed and I said "We are going down to the burrow." "Ok I will get Teddy ready and you can get yourself ready." "Oh sugar I forgot that I was still in my pjs!" then I ran downstairs and put on a bright yellow sweater and skinny jeans. Then I saw Teddy and Harry waiting by the fireplace. "You ready?" he asked "Yeah. Aww he looks so cute." Harry had picked out green and blue plaid baby shorts and a blue shirt that said TEDDY in green. I quickly told Harry about Teddy's loup and he was so proud. We quickly hurried off to Mom and Dad's
