The meeting⁵

He unlocked his door, laying down on his bed.

He threw his jacket on the floor and kicked his shoes aside, swearing that he'll tidy up later. He couldn't stand uncleanness.

He closed his eyes.

Darkness.

"Heichou?"

Moblits voice rang out

"What is it." Levi responded, hostility in his voice

"Um....I need some advice..it's not related to titans or anything..."

"Hm? What is it?" Levi was curious now

"Well um..you are good friends with section  commander Hange?"

"I suppose so." Levi smiled slightly

"Well, Hange's birthday is coming up..I want to get them something special-"

"...glasses."

"What?" Moblit looked at Levi

"Their glasses are all cracked. If you want something they'll use, I suggest getting them a new pair. They'll think of you whenever they wear them." Levi smirked at the last part

"I- thank you so much, heichou!! I-I'll get them new glasses!" Moblit smiled brightly, blushing

"In fact, I'll make it a point to insult their glasses every time I see them." Levi smirked

"Um, right." Moblit raised his eyebrow, chuckling lightly

Levi woke up, cold sweat and tears running down his face

Just thinking about them hurt.

He took a wine bottle from under his bed.
This was the strong shit.

Not bothering to get a glass, he sipped straight from the bottle.

It's been a hot minute since he last got drunk.

The more he sipped, the fuzzier he felt.

He knew he was going to have one hell of a hangover

-TIME SKIP-

There was a knock at the door

Erwin walked Into the room.

Levi's shoes and jacket were laying on the floor. Piles of half-finished paperwork layed on the table.

Levi was sitting on the floor, his hair messy and sweaty.

"Erwin? 's that you?" Levi slurred his words

"Levi?! You're a mess!"

"Don't be fuckimng rude!! Imn fine."

"Where were you? Nobody saw you at dinner, and Mike and Nanaba haven't seen you since the expedition." Erwin furrowed his eyebrows slightly

"What timne is it?" Levi looked around

"Its almost one in the morning."

"Huuh? Why didn't shit-glasses tell me?"

"Um. Section commander Hange isn't with us anymore." Erwin's voice was shaky

Levi started crying

Erwin had no idea how to comfort a crying drunk soldier

"Well, I'm still here. You can talk to me if you want to.."

"Just becousm you're hot doesn't mean you can replace Hange!" Levi started crying even louder

Erwin was flattered at the comment

"I don't intend to replace them, Levi. I'm not Hange Zöe. I'll never be. It is not my purpose in the slightest. I'm simply here to talk if you need me. I'm your friend."

"Erwim....thamk you." Levi slurred his words even harder this time

"You're quite welcome, Levi." Erwin gave a small smile, turning around to walk out

"Erwim!"

"Yes, Levi?"

"Please. Stay."
