While Code-Boy supervised Karma, he noticed a movement out of the corner of his eyes, Code-Boy turned, and found himself face to face with a figure shrouded in darkness, a terrifying person with bloodied eyes and jagged teeth... and out-stepped a horrifying, REVOLTING creature, IT WAS-
"Narrator, please... it was just Waterboy.exe, he isn't THAT scary... stop trying to turn this into a horror story, sheesh"

One, I was adding drama! Two, I'm terrified of that guy, and three, YOU RUINED THE MOOD!

It was Waterboy.exe!
Code-Boy looked at Waterboy's Arch-Nemesis and asked "well, Waterboy.exe, is there any reason for this unwelcome visit!?"
As Waterboy.exe was about to explain the reason for his visit, he noticed Karma building one of the Robotic Gizmos which he set out to build a few minutes prior. "So... what is he building?"
"Huh?", Waterboy.exe repeated his question, asking Code-Boy, "What is Karma doing?"
After pondering on what to tell the evil version of Waterboy, Code-Boy announced "Wondering what Karma's Doing? Well, these here are the Units for an invention of mine! But it can only work if 3 of these Robotic Dogs, or 'Units' are built! These Units are customisable, with Custom Colours, Custom Enhancements, and even Custom AI! You can design it the way you see fit! So do we have a D-"
"I'm in no questions asked! Let me help you!"
"Whoa- whoa- whoa- Waterboy.exe, you need to give me a token of your trust, these Units are super sensitive, and if something goes wrong, it won't end well... I need to be able to trust you to partake in this... so what are you offering for partaking in this opportunity, Waterboy.exe?"
Waterboy.exe pondered about this for a moment, before opening his hand. As he did so, a rounded black Talon or Shard of some kind manifested upon Waterboy.Exe's open palm...
Code-Boy hesitated for a moment, something about the shard seemed to make him feel uneasy, like something about it screamed that danger was coming... though he decided to ignore his unease for the time being.
Waterboy.exe locked eyes with Code-Boy, and "Take this, you shall need it more than I. Fair warning though: DO NOT WASTE IT! That Shard is for something... I don't know what... but I know it's important... I sense something ominous approaching... something worse than even I am. All I know, is that you will need the set of whatever that is... and a dragon-scale... in the near future... ANYWAYS, can I build one of your 'Units' now?!"
"Alright... go ahead Waterboy.exe, I won't stop you... Perhaps you can help Karma build and Design his?"
As Waterboy.exe began the construction of his own Gizmo, Code-Boy slightly chuckled and whispered to himself, "Well that was easy!", and went back to monitor the construction of each Gizmo.
This Cycle continued. And as more friends came, and were conned into constructing the Robotic Dogs, each friend gave Code-Boy a Trinket for the time spent constructing and designing each 'Unit'.
By the time all three Dog 'Units' were built, Code-Boy had amassed 7 trinkets; One From Karma, One from Waterboy.exe, One from Tiger-Boy, One From Samuel.exe (One of Waterboy.Exe's Descendants), One from Waterboy, One from Pyro, and One from King Ignian.
As Code-Boy examined the trinkets, he noticed in the background that after all of the dogs had been constructed, that Several large extra bits and pieces of unused, unnecessary, or warped parts, several nuts and bolts, and quite a few wires and other circuitry that was left on the ground. After making sure that everyone had finished building, and after gathering all the unused pieces, Code-Boy quickly constructed a machine, one which required all 3 Dogs to use.
It was a small device, which the 'Unit' Dogs (Named Gizmo, Gadget, and Gozmi), could walk upon.

"You forgot to mention what the trinkets were, I'm sure the readers are curious about it..."
Alright... I'll explain the Trinkets for you Code-Boy...
-Ahem- By the end of the construction of the 'Units', Code-Boy had accumulated several unique artifacts. Code-Boy stared at the 'Tokens' in his hand, he had managed to accumulate; An Invisible Lightbulb, A Shard of Darkness, A Dragon's Scale, A Shard of Light, A Key of Duality, an Eternal Flame, and a Shard of Magma... Code-Boy stared at them for a moment, before putting the objects in his coat for later.
"Let's continue the story Narrator!"
Fine, we'll continue shortly... -Ahem-

After all was said and done, all of those who were involved with the creation & programming of each robotic Gizmo, anxiously waited for Code-Boy's Signal to activate their creations.
After grabbing his invention in a sort of trolley, Code-Boy walked to where everyone else were waiting, before announcing "You may now activate your wonderful creations!"
As Code-Boy announces this, a flash of light fills the room, and as Code-Boy opens his eyes, and sees the blinding manifestation of his fa-
"Narrator, my son is not blind... you may stop speaking in past-tense if you wish to. As for you, Son... I see you did as you were told... and constructed all 3 Gizmos as I asked of you."
Code-Boy looks at his father, and responds happily, "I... ha-ha... I... had a lot of help with it! Oh, and by the end, there were a few spare parts left over, so I built this! It requires all 3 dog units for it to work, let's do this!"
Placing all 3 Dogs upon the Invention, Code-Boy looks at everyone and exclaims, "Alright... time to activate the machine! Is everyone prepared? Let's do this!"
...and with that, we've reached the end of our story! The moral, if Code-Boy had been smart enough to figure it out-
"HEY!"
Is that; If you make work desirable, you can convince ANYONE to do your work for you!
"Hold up- we were WORKING!? CODE-BOY!!!"
Code-Boy stares at me for a moment before exclaiming, "I-I'm just gonna go activate the machine now... ha-ha!"
