Almost Immediately, Karma, Waterboy's apprentice, entered the Code-Verse, Practicing Aqua Control and pretending to be Waterboy, because every cool apprentice wants to be just like their hero.
As Karma entered the Code-Verse, he spotted Code-Boy tinkering with the bits and pieces of electronic parts. Karma peered at Code-Boy for a moment before deciding to inquire about what he was doing.
"Well Hello Inspector Gadget!" Karma exclaimed with a sneering intonation in his voice, "What are you making?"
Karma then tilted his head to the side, having not realised that Code-Boy was so focused on building that he was ignoring the fact that someone had entered the Code-Verse.
"Hey, you there?" Karma asked; becoming more annoyed with every second passing where he was being ignored.
Then, snapping out of focus for an instant, Code-Boy turned his head, and with a smirk, leapt into the air, before landing on his feet and announcing, "This is like nothing you've seen before my friend. This is no mere pile of electronics and wires! For I am a brilliant inventor, and this shall be my GREATEST invention yet!"
Karma looked at Codeboy and asked "well, then what are these?"
Code-Boy looked at the Blueprints Karma was holding up, and then whispered; "Well you see, those are the power source of my invention, but my invention requires all 3 Units to be built, I doubt anyone would be able to execute the construction of my invention with as much precision and care as I can! As these mechanics are hyper-sensitive, even the slightest mistake could cause these units to erupt, also causing them to duplicate their robotic parts forever!"
Karma listened, his interest in the 'Invention' and its 'units' growing more and more with each passing second. When Code-Boy finally finished explaining everything, Karma excitedly exclaimed "LET ME HELP YOU BUILD THE UNITS TO THAT INVENTION OF YOURS!"
Code-boy pondered for a minute before stating "No! I cannot risk letting you sabotage these mechanical wonders! What if you're here to stop me!? Besides, even if you aren't, I cannot be certain that you won't make a mistake, thus rendering the units USELESS!"
Code-Boy and Karma then bandied words back and forth before Code-Boy eventually acknowledged: "Fine, perhaps you have potential... you have 1 day to build these units... BUT FIRST, I need you to give me something-"
Karma stared Code-Boy down, before announcing "I know exactly what you are doing Code-Boy... you... ARE TRYING TO MAKE ME DO YOUR WORK FOR YOU!"
Code-Boy faced Karma, and exclaimed; "No, my friend, I'm not trying to force you to do work for me, if anything its quite the opposite, this is an opportunity, a one-off chance to design the units as we see fit! Custom colours, special enhancements, even customisable AI! It's our choice! But... if you aren't interested-"
Karma interrupted Code-Boy, shouting "WAIT! I DIDN'T SAY THAT I'M NOT INTERESTED, OR DON'T WANT TO!"
"Alright, so... are you in?"
"Code-Boy, you bet I'm in!"
"Alright, so what are you offering for partaking in this opportunity?"
Karma reached into his pocket and pulled out a strange looking object, it was like the base of a lightbulb, but seemingly without the glass. Karma presented it and exclaimed "Here! take this invisible lightbulb Code-Boy!"
Code-Boy examined the 'Light-Bulb' with scepticism, peering at the curious object. Eventually he turned towards Karma and asked "Are you trying to trick me? There's nothing here!"
Karma gave a slight smirk and whispered, "Tap the area where the Lightbulb's glass would be, then you'll see what I mean!"
As Code-Boy looked at Karma, he decided to tap the area where the lightbulb glass supposedly was, and he was pleasantly surprised to feel that something was indeed there. When Code-Boy went to put the lightbulb down, it started glowing... but not like a normal lightbulb. It had a sort of black coloured light, which seemed to darken the room as it 'shone'.
After putting the object in his coat, Code-boy turned to Karma and states "Alright, you may begin on creating your own design for the Unit... though follow the blueprints, it should be recognisable, but apart from that, go wild!"
Karma peered at the pile of electronic parts, planning out his ideas. After a moment, Karma turned towards Code-Boy and exclaimed quietly, "my own design... yeah... YEAH! I'm in! Let's build those units of yours!"
As Karma began construction, Code-Boy smirked, and imagined Karma's possible design for the 1st Gizmo. A chaotic kind of order, colourful and imaginative.
