Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

Sharmaine POV

"Shine, never in my entire life you've seen me miserable like this but I'm begging you. Please? Can you keep this as a secret? Please. I have no intention to kill Henry, that was an accident! Please Shine."

"Why would I? Don't you realize that I can use this situation to make you suffer and you want me to hide it? Do you really think I can hide your secret? You want anything to be in your hands. You steal everything to me! You have my boyfriend now, you also want to have the attention of my father to you although you are only adopted. Don't you want me to be happy Spark? I'm just going to be fully happy when you already vanished in my life. I can't wait to see you inside the jail," she smirked at me. "Don't worry I will going to visit you in jail."

"Damn you Shine!" Ngumisi lang siya sakin habang ako ay nangingitngit sa galit. Ang bugnot kong mukha ay napalitan ng isang ngisi sa isang iglap. "Oh. If I can't deal with you, fine. But let me tell you one thing. I already killed someone today Shine. Killing you won't make any difference. So ... Are you going to keep my secret or I will going to kill you right now?" I said while glaring at her.

"CUT! Very good Sharmaine and Sharlene! You really don't disappoint me Sharmaine, I'm so proud of you. Everyone, let's have a break." Our teacher said.

Nahiya naman ako sa sinabi ng teacher namin, lagi na lang ako nakakatanggap ng papuri sa kanya hindi niya kailangang gawin yun.

Tumingin ako kay Sharlene. She's giving me stare. Come on, wag niyang sabihin naiisecure na naman siya sa akin?

I don't know what's the reason why mainit ang dugo ni Sharlene sa akin. Bakit? Dahil nerd ako? Laging akong napapansin kaysa sa kanya? She is full of insecurities.

Pumunta akong cafeteria. Oo, ako lang mag-isa. Wala namang nakikipagkaibigan sa akin dito eh. Kasi nerd ako, isama mo pa baka pag-initan sila ng grupo ni Sharlene kapag lumapit sila sa akin.

"Hey, nerd." Tumingin ako sa tumawag sa akin. As what I have expected, that is Sharlene. What now again?

"What?" I don't know what wrong with her and she's treating me like this.

"You are really annoying. Here!" Then she gave me their paper works. Yeah. THEIR PAPER WORKS! Hindi lang sa kanya, pati sa mga alipores niya. That's why many girls are still clinging onto her, there are many benefits. Like na marami ang oras nila sa gala because I am the one who are doing their paper works!

"We need that tomorrow morning! 6 am sharp. Don't be late or else you will going to face your punishment." Mariin niyang sabi sa akin then they walk away from me.

Again? Tataba na naman 'yung eyebags ko.

"Okay guys, let's start again." Our teacher said, and then we continue in our practice for our stage play.

I was the protagonist in our play named Spark and my opponent or the antagonist in our play, none other than, Sharlene named Shine.

We finished our practice for today and then uwian na. Pumunta agad ako sa hide out namin. May kasama kasi akong mga lalaki doon. Walo sila, si Clifford, James, Schaun, Andrei, Jake, Clark, Kevin and Kent. At sila ang tumutulong sa akin na gawin ang paper works nila Sharlene. They are all have a smart brain. That spoiled brat! She really likes to make me pissed!

Nakarating na ako sa hide out namin. Sinalubong agad ako nila.

"Our princess is here! What's up? What happened to you?" He paused and realized something. "You look pissed? Is it because of Sharmaine again?" Clifford said. Then I nodded as a response.

"I think I know what Sharlene do to you or given to you." Kent said then he points his finger in the paper works I have.

"Yeah, again. Now you know what to do right?" They nodded as a response to my question. They really know me. They know that Sharlene was the only one who really makes my day ruined.

They also know the reason why I am pretending as a nerd. I really need to pretend, I don't have any choice. Ayokong may masaktan kung di ko 'to ginawa. I just let a big sigh.

We start making the paper works that Sharlene given to me. Then 5 hours passed. It's already 10 pm. Shocks! Gabi na. Natapos na naman namin 'yung paper works. Pati 'yung paper works ko tapos na.

Inayos ko na 'yung paper works.

"I need to go! Bye." I left in our hide out without thanking them and giving them just a little smile. I'm not that kind person. I think that is not too cool.

Nakarating na ako ng condo ko at bulagta sa kama. Hay, such a tiring day. Then, I fell asleep.

-The next day-

I'm already awake then look at the wall clock. It's already 5:34 am. 7:00 pa ang pasok namin. So I go to the kitchen to cook my breakfast, a pancake to be exact.

After cooking my pancake then I placed it in the table then I start eating.

I felt that someone is staring at me. Lumingon-lingon ako para mahanap kung may nagmamasid.

Then may nakita akong lalaking nakacap siya na black sa bintana. Then nang nakita niya akong nasilip sa kanya. Tapos bigla siyang tumalon sa baba, dahil nasa 3rd floor ang condo ko. Siguro may umalalay sa kanya para umakyat. Then sumakay siya sa motor niya. SH*T!

I dial Clifford's number.

"Clifford, sundan mo 'yung nakamotor na lalaki na nakacap. Dadaan siya diyan sa inyo. Hurry!" Then I hang up.

How did they know my exact location? But for now I need to be careful.

Because. I think they are now starting.
