Name┃ Ruffledfur

5/5 Love it! Ruffled- is a new one for me, and although I typically don't like suffixes like -fur this one gets a pass since it fits together so well with the prefix. It's very, very unique- and it's one of the rules I've seen often: One dynamic, one ordinary.

Gender┃ Female

This is intriguing! I rarely see Queens (this is maybe the second?), so it's pretty nice!

Age┃ About 36 moons (3 human years)

Yup! And about 29 in our equivalent. (Cats age non-linearly, it's weird.)

Clan┃ RidgeClan. The clan is located at the foot of a mountain. A cat's role in the clan, along with mate, for kit purposes, are determined by the leader. Having kits against the leaders will can cause you to be shunned, and the leader can force you to prioritize your warrior duties over your kits.

I like this a lot too! I actually have a clan named RidgeClan as well, I wonder if we had the same process- I was planning to name them CliffClan, but thought it was easy/too overused so I looked for a synonym.

I love the new code. Well, as a story device- I don't think I'd enjoy it much in real life lol.

As with all original Clans, I would suggest finding a real place as a base! Here's my suggestion:

This is more of a slope than foothills, but it would fit with the name of RidgeClan, and my goodness do I love this picture.

Unfortunately, the person who uploaded it to Pixabay (my free-for-use photo site of choice) did  not state where it was taken. Somewhere that is similar may be Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park (United States, Image below.)

Appearance┃ A massive, sturdily built, and well muscled cat, with long, often unkempt, dark brown fur. Yellow-green eyes.

13/15 You rarely see muscular mollies, so this is nice! I love the detail of her fur being unkempt, it shows how her appearance and personality tie together. Yellow-green eyes are super underused for how common they actually are.

I would note that pure brown cats are incredibly, incredibly rare, only found in purebreds such as the Havana Brown (or due to genetic mutation.) I would suggest making her a tabby, although you can make her stripes/spots/swirls/ticks as small as you like.

Oddly enough, I sort of imagine her as a Maine Coon.

Personality┃ Stubborn, serious, a bit short-tempered. Can come off as rude to those who don't know her, but she's kind and caring towards those close to her. More of a tough love kind of mother, but who always wants the best for her kits. She also tends not to care about the state of her pelt, causing it to get tangled and matted. Hence the name Ruffledfur.

24/25 She's not flawless, which is good! She may need a few more traits, however: maybe she's strategic and efficient, but also impatient and occasionally arrogant.

Again, love what you did with her coat.

Backstory┃ When it was her time to become an apprentice, she was selected to be a warrior. She was quite happy with this role. However, she fell in love with Snowpelt, a tom from her clan. They kept their relationship a secret, but then Ruffledfur got pregnant. But their having kits hadn't been ordained by the leader, and so Ruffledfur attempted to hide it from all but her mate. Snowpelt, however, turned from her. He refused to accept the kits as his, or be associated with the pregnancy in any way.

I'd like to see a bit more detail, but it's good as is! (You do have a character limit.) I'd love to see a more complicated side of Snowpelt here, since although that is absolutely horrid and why why why would you do that, there is some possible reasoning that could make for a really nuanced character. For instance, maybe he's been feeling guilty for his relationship the entire time and this was his breaking point.

How did their leader react to her kits? What were the consequences?

Family┃

Ex-mate: Snowpelt - A fluffy, gray tom with a white underbelly, and white splotches on his left side, including one on his face. Left eye is blue, and right eye is green. Deaf in left ear.

Oh my goodness, yes! Thank you so much! 

You've done your research. Blue eyes commonly lead to deafness, and in heterochromia can lead to it in the ear that the colour is on. 

Nice on remembering the white splotches on his face, too. Great job!

Kits: Bramblekit - dark brown, long furred she with a few white patches, Stonekit - Deaf, gray and white she with blue eyes.

Same not about her colouration for Bramblekit, but nice job with the white spotting, since that is exactly how it would be passed along! Make sure Stonekit has long fur, since it would be impossible for her to have shorter fur given her parentage. (Long fur is recessive.... it's confusing, yeah.)

Likes: Her kits. Bramblekit and Stonekit are the things that matter most to her, in her entire world.
