Meeting

Chitrasen broke the hug "I am sorry but I think I am not the one whom you are looking for" he said moving away from the hug and his eyes were too cold

"Why are you saying like this chote ? I am your big brother. And I can't see you suffer like this come back brother" he pleaded him but Chitrasen was adamant on his decision

"My brother died the same day when he imprisoned my sister and killed his own nephews mercilessly. Now what is the guarantee that my family won't face the same fate as my sister and brother-in-law" he said subsiding his feelings, his rage which wanted to fight his brother at that instant

Sri was trying to extract meanings from her father's words . It's like she heard about similar story but she wasn't getting to it correctly

"I did it to save myself , and I couldn't kill my sister so I decided to kill her sons who would be my end but I could never harm you or your children chote" he said calmly

A thousand watt bulb glowed in her mind finally she was able to connect all the dots . She turned to see karn who was looking suspiciously towards their conversation

"Bhaiya I told you there is something fishy look it's really fishy" she whispered to him

"I agree with you sri . Something is amiss here , I am trying to connect the dots but couldn't" he whispered back

Sri slowly peeked from behind of Chitrasen's legs and viewed the person infront of her . She gazed him from top to bottom he was in royal attire

That person's gaze fell on her. Her deep violet eyes captured him and innocence on her face made him smile

"Is she your daughter chote" he asked her making Chitrasen nod a bit "come here putri there is no need to fear me I am your father's brother" he said making her look at her father who merely gave a nod seeing his wife and daughter

She slowly moved towards him and lifted her heat high to see the person "Pranipat! I am chitrika but you are my father's brother so you can call me sri" she gave a small smile to him

He adored her innocence which he wanted to preserve from his own evil within . Slowly picked her up to his level . "But I want to call you with different name , is it okay putri" he asked her making her nod

"Kanika, kans ki putri kanika" he said making her eyes go wide .

Sri pov

Wait is he the infamous kans ? King of mathura! What's all this?  so damn confusing . But I think it's better not to judge him before itself

"I am your bade pitashree putri" he seems nice towards me "but I will call you baba bade pitashree is too big to me to spell" I saw a genuine smile on his face

"Of course putri it's my pleasure to have a daughter like you, chote you are really blessed to have a daughter like her" he turned towards papa and said

Karn came forward and stood beside Chitra eyeing her suspiciously. As if she is hiding much more

"I think you should leave I don't want anyone to notice you here and it's my final decision I am not going to return till you release my sister and repent for your sins" Chitrasen said though it was painful for himself to utter those words towards his brother more like a father figure but still he made his heart of steel

"Ok chote if this is your final decision then let it be but you can't stop me from visiting my daughter and son" he told him harshly , Chitra tried to oppose but Chitrasen stopped her

"Putr come here" he asked karn to come towards him
"Listen carefully when ever you feel like you need my help in emergency, when your father or mother are tied by their promises or circumstances then just call me once okay I am handling this crystal to you both keep it safe it will help you to contact me okay" kans handed that to karn
