Mika had been out and about all day, collecting donations for Valkyrie, yet the amount he had managed to make from the various street performances and side jobs still came nowhere near the amount Shuu had requested of him. Letting Shuu down was not an option, it never was. He trusted that Shuu too, was working hard to gather the necessary funds for their next live, that doesn't mean he should slack off and do nothing. After all, Mika wasn't sure if their combined funds were enough, so guessing would get them nowhere. Even if Mika dipped into his personal funds, it wouldn't be quite enough to fill the gap. . . But something is better than nothing, and he imagined Shuu wouldn't be enraged if they didn't meet their goal by the following week.
It didn't take Mika long to make a decision.
Mika ended up putting mostly all of his funds into this, leaving only a small amount of money left - his candy money. If this live helped Valkyrie stay on its feet, it would only be a small price to pay, right? Valkyrie meant the world to him, so he'd do anything in his power to keep it up - and sending this money as well as the cash he made earlier was well within his power - so he could continue being Shuu's best doll on stage. Oh, but he shouldn't call himself that anymore, right? It doesn't matter at the moment, though. All that mattered was that he sent this money in and began practicing as soon as possible. Valkyrie's been through worse. Much worse. It's nothing he and Shuu couldn't handle, though he did get a number of funny looks when he found himself chomping on a couple of lollipop sticks during lunch.
