sky without the coat
p- do you think geno is gonna add you to the starting 5 next game ?
sky- idk . i dont think im ready but it will be fun
p- you dont think your ready ?, you filled in for me when i was injured and won the game for us .your definitely ready .
sky- i guess so .
their food and drinks arrive and they began to eat and chat for hours . once it hit 10( 3 hour date ) they paid their bill and gave the waiter a large tip and left . paige stayed sober for the night because she was driving and she was still hungover from the other night . on the other hand, sky was "white girl wasted" and was falling everywhere and over everything . once paige got her safely in the car , she drove them home and got her inside without waking anyone up . or so she thought .
p.s-( comes thru the door )
n- hey guys where did you go
p- we went to dinner and she got drunk .
n- again , we were just drunk the other night . is that why you didn't drink?
p- yeah and im also the designated driver . can you help me with her
n- yeah come on
they begin to drag her to the room and put her on the bed . nika leaves the room as paige begins to undress her and sky for bed . she carefully lays sky down in the bed and lays next to her putting her hand around her body . she kisses her on the head and lays down to sleep .
The next morning
everyone but sky is up and ready for practice since paige let her sleep in .
evina - wheres sky ?
p- shes not coming today
liv- why
p- we went on a date last night and she was stressed out about the game coming up since im still a little hurt and she might fill in for me that she drank . a lot . nika and i had to drag her to bed when we got home .
aaliyah - why is she stressed , she won our very first game for us
p- she thinks she has to live up to my hype since shes taking my spot until i get better .
liv- well maybe we should tell geno, maybe he can take some stress off of her and have her play like half the game instead of the full one
p- great idea . i will talk to him when we get to practice .
evina- which we should be heading to now
AT PRACTICE
geno- guys line up , were running today . where sky ?
p- uh shes home actually ]
geno- why ? she knows shes in this weekends game and she should be here . matter of fact you should be the only one at home right now
p- can i talk to you privately ?
geno- yeah come on . everyone else RUN
all- ( starts running )
geno- so whats the problem with sky
p- well me and her went out last night and she told me she was stressed because she didn't know how to fill my shoes / keep up with my hype . since your putting her in the game to replace me
geno- so why is she home
p- well she kinda got drunk because of it and me and nika had to drag her to the room last night when we got back so i figured she wouldn't make it to practice
geno- why does she think she has to live up to your hype . not that your famous or anything
p- she said shes just felt like that but idk .
geno- well tell her to come for a private workout tomorrow afternoon with me . im gonna talk to her .
p- thank you coach
geno- now go sit on the bench , your not doing anything , i need you ready for the big game coming up .
