Scene 4: The big Announcement

(The jeep pulls up to the bottom of the hotel stairs)

Rosie: "Were back."

Tanya: "Can you tell us yet. My life is boring."

(Sam helps Donna out of the back of the jeep)

Donna: "NO we are not telling anyone till the whole family is together. That is final."

Sam: "Donna do you think you can climb all these stairs?, correction Rosie do you think Donna can make it up the stairs."

Rosie: "Honestly Sam I don't think she will be able to make it the whole way, but help her go up some off the way."

Sam: "Fine, but I am NOT leaving your side Donna, and were going slow."

Donna: "Thank you sweetheart. (Kiss Sam). Lets let Rosie and Tanya go first so they can gather everyone in the courtyard for the big announcement."

Rosie: "Were on it Donna. Please take it easy on the stairs."

Donna: "Thank you. I will. I promise."

(Rosie and Tanya start running up the stairs)
(Sam and Donna start walking slowly up the stairs)

Sam: "Are you doing alright."

Donna: "I am fine Sam. (Wince in pain) ouch."

Sam: "Donna you are not fine. I am going to help you go the rest of the way."

Donna: "Fine, and Thank you for being so overprotective."

Sam: "Your welcome. Anything for my lovely wife."

(Donna and Sam finally make it up to the hotel, seeing everyone standing in the courtyard.)

(One of Sams sons walk over to Sam and Donna, who were over at the bar so Donna could sit down.)

Ben: "Hey dad. How you doing old man. And you must be Donna. It is so wonderful to finally meet you after all these years."

Donna: "I most certainly am. It is also wonderful to meet you... I am so sorry what is your name again.?"

Sam: "Donna this is Ben. He is the oldest. He has just been accepted to Harvard Law."

Donna: "Harvard wow. So you want to be a lawyer."

Ben: "Most certainly. I want you to meet my brother, so let me go get him. He was tired and went to take a nap in our room."

Donna: "That would be wonderful."

(Ben walks off to get Todd, leaving Sam and Donna alone.)

Donna: "He is such a gentleman. He is just like his father."

Sam: "I don't know were he got the lawyer idea from, but yeah he is pretty smart."

(Ben walks back over with Todd)

Todd: "Hey dad. You must me the glowing Donna. I am so happy to finally meet you. Dad has told us so much about you."

Donna: "Same goes to you. I want you two to meet my daughter Sophie. Sam is it ok if I walk over there to get Sophie."

Sam: "yes that's fine. (Kisses Donna on the cheek)

(Donna walks over to Sophie)

Sophie: "Hey mom. You look like you are feeling so much better."

Donna: "I am sweetheart. Would you cone with me I want you to meet some people."

Sophie: "Sure."

(Donna and Sophie start walking back towards the bar, were the boys were standing."

Donna: "Boys, this is my daughter Sophie. Sophie this is Ben and Todd. They are Sam's sons."

Sophie: "It is a pleasure to meet you Ben and Todd."

Ben, Todd: "OMG we have a sister."

Sam: "Yes you do. What do you think?."

Ben: "I have always wanted a sister."

Todd: "Me too."

(Rosie and Tanya run toward Donna)

Rosie: "Well Donna everyone's here. Can you please tell us the big announcement."

(Donna looks over at Sam, and Sam nods)

Donna: "The big announcement is I am Pregnant."

(Every one starts jumping and screaming)

Sam: "That's not all. Donna is pregnant with twins."

(Everyone started jumping and screaming a whole lot louder.)

Rosie: "Congratulations Don. You will be a great mother. Again."

Tanya: "Congrats. You are with the perfect husband. With the perfect family."

Donna: "Thanks you girls. I have the best friends in the world."

(Donna, Rosie, and Tanya give a group hug.)

Sophie: "Congratulations Mamma. I am finally going to be an older sister."

(Everyone congratulates Donna and Sam)

Donna: "Hey Sam. The walk up to the hotel took all my energy. I think I am going to call it a night. (Kiss Sam on the lips.)

Sam: "That's fine. Would you like me to come with you."

Donna: "No you stay and celebrate. I will be fine. Good night. Will you tell everyone I said good night."

(Donna walks to her bedroom and lays down and immediately fell asleep.)

Dim the stage.
