Dear Frances,

Sorry for the much too delayed letter back, my gran had me doing a whole bunch of chores throughout the summer break. Thanks for the birthday present by the way, I'm guessing you've tried to pick up knitting as a hobby for the vacation. Not too bad of a work I must say, the blue and yellow do go well together :)

From,

Neville.

P.S. Thanks for the additional muggle snacks by the way. This, Herschel? Hershey? Hersh something bar tastes pretty good. This makes me want to visit some muggle shop some day and buy a few random things as well, the objects they have seem so fascinating.

THE MORNING AFTER HARRY'S BIRTHDAY was a cleaning day in Grimmauld Place, well for Frances at least. Trying to at least have some productive day- and some small scolding from Molly for sneaking out- she felt it was helpful for her to clean around the house. Besides, there was much to see around 12 Grimmauld Place, so might as well explore. There was a lot of dusting, and sweeping, and tidying up to do for the girl, Frances got straight to work right away.

Alongside Ginny she cleaned, thankful that Ginny was there to help. The two chatted amongst themselves, throwing in some playful banter whilst sorting out some of the old scraps around the halls. "I did, in fact, predict that you and Harry would end up dating some time soon." It was Ginny who knew first hand, she was the only one up that night Frances came back. Of course Frances would've told her everything there and then. Soon the rest of the others heard, and in a span of a few hours everyone knew. "I mean, the way you two look at each other makes it pretty obvio-"

"Shut up Ginny," said Frances jokingly with a laugh, tossing over a damp cloth to Ginny, the two cleaning out some dusty shelf. Ginny laughed before sticking her tongue out at the older girl, then proceeding to clean her side of the shelf. "I could say the same about you and Lun-"

"Okay now it's your turn to shut it." Ginny threw a playful glare, Frances rolling her eyes with a smile. "She probably doesn't like me that way- would she even like me that way?"

"Only one can guess, I have hopes for you two though." A smug look was on Frances face, dusting her hands off. "Just write to her after we finish. I'm sure she'd appreciate a letter from you. I'll get to the next room now, just follow after alright?"

"Sounds like a plan to me," she smiled at Frances before the older Gryffindor sauntered off down the hallway to the next room. Opening the door, she was greeted with the stuffy air in the room. It looked deserted, as a house would when no one has lived in it for years. Swatting some of the dust away from her face, she wasn't paying attention to the walls of the room, though once she looked up she realized the walls were covered with a continuous painting.

Surveying the four walls, curiosity started to come across the girl as she began to approach one side. There painted was a crest, assuming that it was the family crest of the residents of the house. "Phineas," Frances read out loud, listing off the names on this family tree tapestry. This particular name had their face rather burned off, she wondered why. The girl knotted her eyebrows together in suspicion, looking upwards for more. "Walburga Black, Orion Black, Regulu-, Sirius." She tilted her head. "This must've been where Sirius lived."

"And that guess is right," a voice said, Frances immediately getting startled and turned to see who it was, only to see Lupin standing by the doorway. He gave her a wave, finishing off the piece of chocolate he had with him. Glad to see it was him, she gave a wave back. Lupin was one of the few Defense Against The Dark Arts teachers she found comfortable around, he gave much of a fatherly figure statement to her when he used to teach. And up until this day, she knows that she could count on Lupin whenever times were rough, and whenever she didn't necessarily have a family member to turn to as well.

"Professor Lupin- sorry, I just got startled." She let out a sigh of relief, taken aback as she stepped a few steps backwards and placed her hand on her chest as she exhaled. "So this was Sirius' old home?"

"Well, before he left to live with James." Lupin made his way over to stand beside Frances, the two only staring at the wall as if it was some mural you'd see in a museum. "It was a rather miserable time for Sirius and his brother." The young girl only nodded. "Their mother, Walburga, burnt his face off the tapestry once he left."

"So do they, like, take the faces off of those... let's just say, who defy what they stand for... or something?"

"In a way, yes." He then pointed towards another burnt face, one beside a name that read Bellatrix Lestrange. "Andromeda, she was Sirius' cousin."

"What happened to her?"

Lupin stopped and thought for a second before continuing. "Married a muggle born, Ted Tonks. You know the other member of the Order who goes by Tonks?"

"Oh she's a really gorgeous- amazing person," Frances cleared her throat quickly. "She's their daughter, isn't she?" Lupin nodded at her question, hands resting in his pockets. "Andromeda must've loved Ted very much. She seems like a lovely person."

"She's incredible, like an older sister. She isn't a member of the Order, but she did help us out as much as she could."

Frances, always being the curious type, wanted to meet this Andromeda Tonks he was talking about. The girl stood closer to the tapestry, her eyes focused on Andromeda's burned off face. There was so much to learn about this family, and Frances knew it might be helpful to know a thing or two if anything unexpected might happen. "I'd definitely want to meet her if I've got the chance. Andromeda... Dromeda... She's got a really lovely name." Frances said.
