Dimensional Error

Part three: Study

Annihilate fell to the ground with a loud THUD, with J0E finally coming back to his senses. Well that was short lived, Jackson thought as he descended to the floor where the demon lied. He hesitantly walked closer to the body. Annihilate wasn't moving. Jackson checked his pulse, in which he was still alive, just unconscious. "Guess his weakness is helicopters," Jackson joked. He looked at J0E, "Can you scan this thing?"

"I can see..." J0E replayed, still a little dazed. J0E then summoned a holographic scanner, covering Annihilates body. "This thing is a phantom. There isn't much info I can get from him, other than he's really strong and he's classified as something called a Possession."

Jackson thought for a moment. "You think we can take it back for Pencil to look at?"

J0E looked at Jackson like he was stupid. "Are you seriously suggesting taking this thing to our house? We barely know anything about this thing!"

"Which is exactly why we need to take him back to study him."

"And if he wakes up?"

"I can knock him out again with this propeller." He held it like a sword. J0E let out a small groan, knowing Jackson wouldn't let him win.

"Fine." J0E sighed. The robot then lifted the unconscious being with two arms he retracted from his body. They then began a hasty flight to their house.

Jackson quickly swung open the door to their basement, where Pencils lab was, J0E following. They both were screaming Pencils name, somewhat expecting him to appear in front of them. They turned a corner when they reached the bottom of the stairs and saw him near a table. Pencil was observing a large, lean black body. The body looked so skinny you could see the pelvis too well. It had a cat mask. Pencil looked up, seeing the ghost in J0Es robotic arms. He yipped. "What is that thing?"

"We fought it today. We have no idea what it is." J0E said, laying the body on an empty table. He looked at the professor. "Do you know anything about Possessions?" Pencil repeated the word quietly, and turned to a book next to the cat like being. He opened it and scrolled to a page. He began to read aloud.

"Possessions are the darkest form of phantom demons in the multiverse. They have the ability to possess any living being. Unlike other spirits or ghosts, Possessions can gain full control over its host. They mainly want to possess the strongest being there is. They are highly destructive and hostile." He paused and looked at Annihilate. Realization hit him. "You brought him here?!"

It was Jackson's idea, I tried to talk him out of it!" J0E exclaimed.

Jackson stammerer, "I- I wanted to bring it here so we can study it!"

"I'm already studying something dangerous, and you decide to bring in something far worse!?" Pencil yelled.

"You never told us you were working on that thing!" Jackson pointed to the cat monster.

Pencil groaned, "Jackson you're impossible...." Just then a little cat came in. They looked really hurt. It had several robotic limbs, an eye patch, and a bandage on its tail. They walked on their hind legs.

J0E was disgusted at Pencil. "What did you do to that poor cat?"

Pencil looked at the lean cat monster. "Wasn't me." The little cat climbed onto the counter with Annihilate. He felt his pulse, It was rising. The cat looked at the three and said something.

"He's waking up."
