Walter sighed and he then looked over to Rita, "I'm sorry about his behavior," Walter told them "But you must also understand that he has every right to be angry"

Rita nodded in agreement, "yes... he does" She told him, "I'm sorry about all of this Mr. Walker, I'm sorry... I must have put you and your wife through so much"

"Yes... Lincoln was a bit of a handful when I first brought him in, he didn't trust me or Tasha, nor did he talk to us about how he felt, it took us a full year to get him to open up" Walter told Rita, "But he's been a blessing truthfully... Lincoln is the light of our lives" He said

Rita nodded with a sad smile on her face, "I only wish we'd realized that" She said

Walter nodded, "I know you must think he hates you, all of you, but Lincoln was the one who asked me and my wife to come with him so he could try and forgive you all because deep down inside, he wants to see you all again and he wants to be a part of your family again, but right now he's not the problem" Walter began "The problem is you and your daughters, he accepted his faults and he's tried hard to move on so he can move on, but what about you? What about your daughters? can you and them do the same so they can move on?" Walter asked

Rita looked at him and gave him a soft yet sad smile, "I don't know... but I and I'm sure my daughters will try" Rita said

Walter smiled, "That's all I ask," he said

"what was he like?" Rita asked Walter "What was his life like after we forced him out...?" She asked

Watler smiled softly at the mother and he nodded, "Lincoln should be the one to tell you, but all I can say is that he was mature for his age... he was always smart and he was loved by a lot of people where we lived," Walter said, "but, he suffered along the way..."

"what happened?" Rita asked

Walter shook his head, "That I can't say... that is for Lincoln to tell you when he's ready" Walter said

Rita nodded and she told Watler that she would call the rest of her daughters about the good news of their brother returning him. Walter smiled and looked around the house and then looked over at the stairway and saw the pictures on the wall. He saw the family photo that had Lincoln in it and smiled softly. This family had a lot to work through and it wasn't going to be easy, but he held hope that Lincoln and the rest of the Louds would make it out of this maze of emotions...

Meanwhile, Lincoln was walking down the sidewalk alone, managing to convince the others that he just needed some alone time to calm himself, he just walked and walked until he arrived at the store he remembered quite well, he had found himself at Flips food and Fuel.

Lincoln looked up at the store and sighed, a wave of nostalgia flowed through him and he wondered what flip had been doing all this time, was he still even working it, or did he sell it off?

Lincoln walked in and when he did, the store still looked the same which brought a smile to his face. The more things change the more things stay the same huh? He walked over to the drinks and grabbed himself one drink and then walked over to the candy bars and grabbed himself a king-size chocolate bar. He then walked up to the counter to pay for his things but no one was there, so he hit the bell on the counter and waited for a few minutes, but no one came so he rang the bell again.

"B-Be there in a second!" Came a feminine voice that Lincoln didn't recognize

Lincoln waited until he heard a crashed and he set his things down and rushed to the back to make sure everything was ok when he did, he saw a box of broken and unbroken glass bottles on the floor, and sitting on the ground was a girl huddled up and her head resting on her knees. She was wearing plain black and white hight-top converse, wore a pair of black ripped jeans, and a short-sleeved forest green shirt, and Lincoln could see half of her name tag but couldn't make out the letters, she had brown semi-short hair in a ponytail and some freckles on her face.

"Are you ok?" Lincoln asked

She quickly looked up at Lincoln and then groaned, "I'm fine I just... ugh, I just been having a bad day" She said as she slowly got up

Lincoln held out his hand to help her up and she took it and he helped her up. They looked at the mess and the girl sighed heavily

"This is gonna take so long to clean" She groaned

Lincoln looked at her, "I could help if you want, I got nothing better to do anyway" Lincoln told her

"Thanks but I really should clean this up myself," She said, the girl then took in a deep breath then let it out and the girl then looked over to him and smiled, and held out her hand, "Sidney Chang, but please just call me Sid"

Lincoln smiled and shook her hand, "Nice to meet you then, Sid" Lincoln said "I'm Lincoln, Lincoln Walker"

"Nice to meet you Lincoln," Sid said with a smile, "So you new to town?" She asked

Lincoln just smiled, "You could say that," he told her "You a Local?"

Sid shook her head, "No, I moved here about 3 years ago" Sid told him "But what brings you here?" she asked

"reconnecting with Family here," He told her "What brought you here?" he asked

"I moved here after a few bad experiences in the city," Sid said

Lincoln nodded, "Well, Why don't we get started on cleaning up this mess?" Lincoln asked

"Oh! Right! haha, almost forgot about that" Sid said bashfully with a smile

Lincoln just smiled at her and grabbed an extra broom to help her clean up the mess and they began to talk more and get to know a little bit more about the other.
