Okay, in order for me to tell my story, I'm gonna need you to pay attention. Okay? You got it? Good. My tale isn't as tragic as some demigods, immortals and anime characters along with comic book characters too. My name is Wraith Blanco, and I have a dream. You see, I come from a long line of bounty hunters. We date back to fourteen generations ago and we made a business out of what we do about two generations ago. My mother is one, their master before them and their teacher before them... Yeah, adopted family still counts as family. Strange, I know.
A young child is seen running through an obstacle course.
See that little runt? That's me. Now you're probably wondering, "What is this kid doing in a military style obstacle course? That answer is really simple actually. Remember when I said that I come from a long line of bounty hunters? My mother is one actually and she's training me and my sister to take over the family business one day. My only problem aside from being weak and not having a heart for the life of a bounty hunter, I just don't like what my mother does. Every day she'd go out, on the job, sometimes she's gone the whole day, other times it's for a few months. While she's doing that, I'm stuck alone with my little sister whom I have to take care of. It was during then that I discovered my love for baking. While I disagree with what my mother does, I still love them.
She's actually been injured for a while which I'm grateful for.
A young teenager with black hair and black eyes was running through a forest, avoiding the traps set by his master on the obstacle course he was running on. He managed to avoid most of them and was close to the finish line but he stepped on a trigger which tightened a rope around his ankle.
His eyes widened as he saw this which caused him to say, "Aw cra-" he was cut off when the rope hoisted him up in the air, leaving him dangling like a wind chime.
He started to squirm as he tried freeing himself but that failed when he heard the voice of a woman laughing at him.
"You almost had it there Wraith." The woman said. She wore a black leather jacket over a blue hoodie along with black pants and boots. She wore goggle-like glasses and had long brown hair that was braided.
"How long are you gonna stand there and laugh at me?" Wraith asked his master. "Laughing? I'll stop now but standing here? Until you get yourself down from there."
"Oh come on master, why can't you let me down?" Wraith whined.
"My master didn't let me down every time I failed this challenge. They waited until I got myself down and that's what I'm doing with you Wraith, it's not training you if I'm not letting you learn." The master said.
Wraith just glared at his master before he started to swing back and forth, back and forth until the branch the rope was tied to snapped which made him fall flat on the ground. He quickly untied the rope from his leg and got up.
"Unorthodox method of freeing yourself and I give you points for creativity... You fail."
"Wha?!"
"You didn't complete the obstacle course on time. I actually came here because you ran out of time." Wraith's master told him which made him sulk as he looked at the ground.
"Come on, that's enough for today." The woman said she and Wraith headed off to a familiar log cabin in the woods.
See that woman? She's my mom. Mylene Blanco. You'd probably wonder why we don't look similar at all? Did I get my looks from my other parent? I don't even know. I was abandoned as a baby, left in the woods. It was only until my mom found me. She took me in and raised me as their own. We may not be blood related and I hold a grudge against them for their career... But she's still my mom. She's still family. Vin Diesel would be proud. Okay, I'm making a lot of references. Sorry.
