the show finally started and i got nervous.

" and your winner for best r&b song isss" they said then opened the envelope.

i felt kehlani hold my hand a little tighter.

i sat there in shock as i heard my song being played.

i stood up and smiled as kehlani engulfed me into a hug.

" i'm so proud of you" she said.

we pulled away and she pecked my lips with a smile.

i hugged my mom, cliff,kendrick, and edward. i walked onto the stage and accepted my award.

" alright let me give this speech without crying" i said and they laughed.

" i wanna thank the friends and my producers for staying up for hours watching me and helping me figure out the room for this song, my mom for never giving up on me even when we had nothing, she always got me the things i needed for my home studio i built as a teen, i love you ma, my beautiful and loving girlfriend for being their for me and being the inspiration behind the love songs i write and this song, and my wonderful fans for getting me to where i am today without you guys i wouldn't be here so thank you" i said holding up my grammy and walking off the stage.

i took a few pictures and went back to my seat.

as i sat down i couldn't stop smiling.

" hello my grammy winner of a girlfriend" kehlani said kissing my cheek.

and i indeed did win all of the categories i was nominated in. i was so happy but also in shock.

i took pictures on the red carpet and got in the limo.

"my social battery is frieddd" i said sighing.

" MY FRIEND IS A GRAMMY WINNERRR" cliff said.

i looked up and they were all recording me.

i got hyped with two of my awards and he showed my mom who was holding one and kehlani who was holding the other.

" yessirrr" i said.

he ended the video and we stopped by my moms to drop her off since we agreed to do something tomorrow.

" remember cookout tomorrow" my mom said as i walked with her inside.

" i know but i just need to give you these" i said giving her three of the awards i won.

" y/n" she said wanting to cry.

i put them down and she pulled me into a hug.

she kissed my cheek and i went back to the limo when she shut the door.

cliff and kendrick said they were staying at my house so we dropped kehlani and edward off and i'm inside talking to her really quick.

we pulled away and she peck my lips.

" be safe going home" she said.

" i will.. by franklin" i said leaning down and petting him.

i was about to walk away when she stopped me.

" you forgot your r&b award" she said.

" no i didn't" i said then walked away.

i got in and told the driver to go ahead.

we got to my house and we got lit a little bit before going into our rooms.

kehlani called me as i laid down.

" hey princess" i said as her face connected.

" why" she said looking at me.

" because you deserve it and if it wasn't for you that song would've never been made" i said.

" i love you" she said.

" i love you too now get some sleep i'll be with you tomorrow" i said.

" goodnight" she said with a smile.
