Part 3 - What if Mitch won the trial?

Yuki's POV

"Am I wrong, Kizuna Tomori, the Ultimate Cheerleader, your the one who took away the life of Kiyoka Maki." I say.

"You guys got to listen to me, it wasn't me!" Kizuna kept on aruging.

"But all the evidence points to a female who used a rope with a hook to kill Kiyoka." Tsurugi says.

"But believe me, you got the wrong female!" She shouted.

"I'm sorry Tomori-chan." Akane said, as she voted for her.

"TRUST ME YOU WILL REGRET IT!" She shouts.

"I'm sorry that I have to vote you Kizuna." Kanata said, as she clicked Kizuna also.

"Please, all of you think again, your going to all die! DIE I SAY!" Kizuna said.

"But we looked through the whole case and everything leads to you." Ayame said.

"Please, I'm done, I don't want to die like the rest of you. Trust me, it's not me, can we please continue with this trial?" Kizuna begged, she was starting to break down.

"We're so sorry but for us all to live we need to vote you." I say, clicking on the picture of Kizuna.

"No, no, no, no. You won't live, why would I not tie the rope properly if it was me? I could simply go and tie it up so then it did look like she committed su*cide." Kizuna says.

"You do have a point but that still isn't enough proof, every other clue leads back to you." Rei said.

"Yeah, tricks on you we caught you on the splits." Satsuki joked.

"Satsuki, no jokes now." Haruhiko says.

"Tru-Trust me, you. won't. live!" Kizuna said slowly like we couldn't understand her before.

"Kizuna just f*cking accept that you got caught and you now have to pay the consequences." Mitch said.

"Why do I have to pay for someone else's doing?" She asked.

"You kille' her jus' get ove' it and fes' up!" Teruya said.

"But I-" Kizuna was cut off by the machine rolling to pick it's verdict.

It landed on Kizuna like expected but instead of it playing the music that showed us that we were correct like Monokuma described, it showed her face with an red 'X' on it and some eerily, deafening music played. It stopped and everyone in the trial room was quiet.

"Wh-WHATTT?" Teruya shouted.

Thanks to Teruya shouting that, the realization hit all of them, they voted wrong blackened and now they have to know who really killed Kiyoka Maki in such a brutal way, at least that's how Akane described it at least.

"We got the culprit wrong?" Tsurugi muttered, in disbelief and shock. "THEN WHO WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK AWAY HER LIFE?!" Tsurugi quickly went from whispering to shouting. "WHO'S THE ONE WHO WANTED TO GET OUT SO BADLY?"

"SEE I TOLD YOU WOULD WOULD REGRET IT!" Kizuna shouted.

"O-Oh my God, Tomori-san, I'm so sorry that we did that to you a-" Akane was cut off with Monokuma's sing-song of a voice.

"You go the culprit wrong so now they must confess your crimes, they took away a life so then they could leave this place behind." Monokuma sang.

"You know singing it won't make it better?" Satsuki says.

"Yeah I know but at least now I have one hell of a show to present to the blackened." Monokuma says.

"What do you mean? Just because we got the culprit wrong doesn't mean anything!" Yuki said.
