A whole month has went by and honestly I've just been focusing on my mental health plus trying to get on track for school since this is my last year, I was laid across my bed on tiktok dyin laughing when my door flung opened and I scrunched up my face
"Granny here mama said come downstairs " Tamia said stepping inside my room as I sat up "is we still doin that luh prank on granny"
I don't know why out of all people they chose me to do it I'm too goofy and my granny bout hood asf I'm really risking my life .
"Girl I guess tell them I'm coming" I said as I stood up pulling my shorts from outta my ass freshening up

After I got myself together I came downstairs hearing my grandpa and grandma loud ass mouth
"You always in that room on the facebook come out and socialize" my grandpa said as soon as he saw me and I shook my head laughing
"Hey grandad and ion even be on facebook"
"Nah jerry they be on tictac now" my grandma told him and Tamia bussed out laughing

"Who the fuck is a girl I'm a grown ass women"granny told Tamia pointing her finger at her.
"Yall wait bout 20 mins to go in that bathroom" my mama said out of nowhere coming into the living room with a air freshener can "them greens toe up my stomach"
"I knew I was smelling shit I thought jerry ass did it on himself again"

I sat in the middle of them as they started going back and forward while Tamia set up the phone
"Y'all can't we all just get along" I looked at them both smiling and they mugged me looking away
"Rude... but anyways granny you ready to do this scholarship video with me" I said as she sat up fixing her Fantasia wig on her head
"I don't know why you ain't ask yo mama to do this shit my menopause acting up and shit"

"Ok Tamia start recording" I said as I sat straight up close to my granny
Once the video started recording I cleared my throat and prepared myself saying a little quick prayer .
"Hello my name is temari joy evans" I said to the video trying to sound all professional
"And my name is janae nicole evans " my grandma said
"And this is my grandmother.. I'm applying for this scholarship because it would greatly benefit me for not having to take out any loans" I said all together as I looked over at my grandma she had a big ass smile on her face

"The prompted question was what was my biggest inspiration and I decided to choose my granny because my grandpa use to knock her upside head her everyday-
"I know you fuckin lyin to me I ain't never do no shit like to my wife" my grandpa quickly sat up looking at me like I had lost my mind
"Grandpaaa it's for the video chill it's not like y'all known anyways" Tamia mumbled the last part
"But as I was sayin my grandpa had met my grandma on the streets she stayed on somebodies corner but that's until my grandpa took her in-
"Oh hell nah fuck that scholarship you got me fucked up! Where tf you get that shit from" my granny said standing up and i bussed out laughing along with Tamia and my mama
"This girl so damn crazy jerry" grandma said looking at me in disbelief as I laughed
She quickly popped me upside my head twice and I fell out on the floor looking at her
"Dang granny it was a prank" I said while holding my head .
"You know ion play that shit joy" she mumbled sitting back down while eyeing me

It was the next day and I was walking to the store with kaykay we ain't had shit to do on this boring ass Saturday , I sighed lookin over at kaykay as she typed on her phone.
"You've been mad quietly lately" I asked her and sighed shaking her head while stopping in her tracks
"I did something bad and this shit eating me up" she mumbled and I side eyed her
"What you do I'm sure it's not that bad.."
"You can't tell anybody but I helped set up a nigga with duck them" she mumbled and I looked at her with wide eyes .
"Girl huh??are you serious" I said while looking at her as her eyes got glossy real fast.
"I thought they was just finna rob the nigga not kill him" she sniffled quickly wiping her tears .
I wrapped my arm around her pulling her into a hug thats all I could do really because I was just lost for words .
That same black truck quickly pulled up next to us and i rolled my eyes continuing my walk.
"Ayo y'all get in the car" duck yelled from outta the window but I kept walking
"Just come on mari " kaykay said taking my hand as we walked in the direction of the car getting in .
Ace was sitting in the front seat smoking a blunt with low red eyes and i rolled my eyes in digust
"You still going out wimme tonight" duck looked back at kaykay breaking the silence and she nodded her head
"Yeah I'm still coming" she mumbled and I scrunched up my face "can temari come"
"It's up to her" he said looking over at me and I quickly side eyed Ace seein that he wasn't paying me any mind all up in his phone .
