As I watched the bus drive away, my heart broke, but I knew, deep down in my heart, I would see him again.

"Bom Dia!" a voice called over the intercom of the Rio airport. "Bem vindo ao rio!"

It had been four years since that bus left. I had come a long way since then. I glanced around me, trying not to lose track of my team, specifically Kanoka. She had the glint in her eye. "I can barely breathe! We're here! In Rio! For the Olympics!" she shouted.

I rolled my eyes. "It's a game just like any other, Amanai," I said, smirking. "But you're right. This is for the Olympics."

"So don't screw up," Emiko said. At Kanoka's blank expression, she apologized. "No, I didn't mean... Aiko, forgetting something?"

I scoffed. "Please. Me? Forget something?"

"What about your jacket from-" she started.

"Yeah, yeah, Emiko. I've got it, duh." Upon further consideration, I did not, in fact have the jacket in question. Before I knew it, I was sprinting through the Rio airport. Even though it's been years since he left on that bus, I held onto that jacket with everything I had. It reminded me of him, what he taught me. What he was able to see in me before anyone else could.

Still in a full sprint, I glanced back to see if my team was anywhere in sight. Before I could process anything, I ran headfirst into someone.

"Sorry," a voice said.

"Hey watch where you're g-" I started. When turned to the person in front of me, I found myself face to face with torso. I glanced up, tears welling in my eyes when I saw who it was.

"Aiko?"
