"i'll confess" she started, making sunoo's eyes light up.

"eventually" she finished, sunoo returning to his previous slumped state.

"i think you and jake would make a really cute couple" said the stylist, scaring the two idols.

the older woman laughed, "sorry" she said,  "i've seen how the two of you are around each other, and i don't have a doubt that he likes you back"

"auntie, this is safe with you right?" asked sunoo.

the lady nodded, "you're like my children, you have nothing to worry about" she said giving them a smile.

heeyul looked at her through the mirror, giving her a smile back.

and after two hours, heeyul was finally done.

"auntie i love it!" she said, giving her a hug as a thank you.

"i told you purple would look amazing on you" she said.

after bidding her goodbye, sunoo and heeyul were back on their way to the dorm.

soon enough the two were back on the elevator up to their dorm.

"noona why didn't you-" began jungwon as heeyul walked in, but quickly cut himself off, "woah your hair is purple" he said in surprise.

"at this rate your hair is gonna end up falling off" said jay in english.

heeyul scoffed, "says the one that gets his roots dyed every two weeks"

"but you look great" he said, making the girl smile.

excited, heeyul went to the make up room. she sat on a chair and stared at herself in the mirror as she ran her hands through her hair.

and just as he was about to pass by jake saw the girl sitting down, immediately deciding to join her.

"woah your hair!" he said with wide eyes and a smile.

she happily nodded as she moved to the couch, patting the spot next to her so he could sit down.

"no wonder you were gone for so long" he said.

"aww, did you miss me?" she teased, but actually wanted to know his answer.

jake nodded, "of course i did. i haven't seen you since breakfast" he said, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"but we had breakfast four hours ago" she said.

"exactly, its been too long" he said with a pout that was replaced with a shy smile.

"how did it go?" he asked.

"the stylist was really excited to dye my hair" she said, "and i took sunoo with me so it didn't feel like a very long time"

during a pause of silence, heeyul hummed in satisfaction. loving the feeling of jake's hands softly run through her hair.

"you've dyed it so much and yet it feels so soft" he said, slightly amazed.

"can you believe jay told me my hair would fall of if i keep dying it" she said.

jake laughed, "well dying our hair kind of comes with the job" he said. "but just know you won't be the only one going bald" he added, their laughter combining to make a beautiful harmony.

outside of the room stood heeseung, watching the soft interaction unfold in front of him.

he walked away with furrowed eyebrows, deep in his thoughts.

"hyung" softly called sunghoon.

the older looked up and found a concerned sunghoon, "are you okay?" he asked.

heeseung quickly nodded and gave him a tight lipped smile before walking away.

sunghoon looked in the direction he came from, and soon heard the laughs of jake and heeyul.

he sighed and turned around, deciding on following his hyung.
