Part 1 - What if Mitch got his intended target?

"No you incompetent the door was unlocked already." Rei said.

"Okay then why is the door open?" Kanata asked.

"I don't think anyone knows the answer to that but I suggest we check if he's in there." Kinji said calmly.

Yuki was the first one to go in, one by one they all filed in then all of them started looking around the room.

"I- I don't think he's in here." Mitch said.

"Mayb-" Kiyoka was cut off by someone.

"Wait, I found something on top of his draw." Kinji shouted.

"You did? What did you find? Will it help us find him?" Yuki started asking.

"Let him read it and them maybe we might figure out if it'll help us find him." Ayame said.

"Oh, sorry." Yuki apologized.

"Oh no, it's okay, now the letter reads, Dear Kinjo Tsurugi, I have found a way out of this horrible place and I feel like it would be the smartest to tell you first.I would like to meet you in the laundry room at 6 am alone presumably, there is a very valid reason why I picked this place out of any other, there are no cameras so Monokuma won't be able to see or hear what we are talking about.I will be waiting there for you so please take this note into consideration. Thank you very much. And that's it." Kinji read out.

"The laundry room?" Haruhiko questioned.

"The person who wrote that must be stupid if they think that room doesn't have any cameras." Rei points out.

"C-can yo-you tell us who wrote it." Mikako asked quietly.

"I can't, it's not signed." Kinji said.

"..Okay... Go to laundry room." Mikako says.

"Oh, yeah the person who wrote that said 'meet me in the laundry room' didn't they." Satsuki says.

"I pretty sure they did." Kanata said.

"Can we just go already I still wanna eat." Kizuna says annoyed.

"Yes we should get going now and see if he's fine." Akane says, leading the way out.

"Kinji, you should keep that note." Rei said to Kinji.

"I'll keep it safe in by bible." He said, slipping the note into one of the pages.

Everyone left his room, they were all thinking the worst except Mitch, he forgot to get rid of that note and now they have some evidence that could get him caught. They all walked in silence, no one said a word the whole journey until Akane stopped.

"What's wrong Akane?" Yuki asked, noticeably worried.

"Wait." Is all she said.

She looked around, she looked like she was smelling something that she could only see. After a minute of her sniffing the air she spoke up.

"There's a fire close by." She said.

"A fire?!" Ayame yelled.

"Hurry up I think it's coming from the laundry room." Akane said.

Everyone in the group picked up there speed by a lot and because of that they were able to get in the laundry room faster.

"Everyone stay back." Akane says.

Everyone took a few steps back. She then started banging on the door, trying to open it up but even to her surprise it wouldn't open up.

"Maybe I should try." Kakeru suggested.
