Part 1 - What if Mitch got his intended target?

Tsurugi was lying in bed trying to fall asleep, after watching that motive every time he closes his eyes all he recall is that horrid video. He was stuck in his thoughts when he heard a knock at the door which knocked him out of it. He decided to investigate it, he thought i'd probably get all these nasty thoughts out of his head, so he got up from bed and opened the door, to his surprise he saw no one, he decided to leave it, probably just Monokuma playing another one of his jokes. He closed the door and was about to go to bed when he tripped on something, he got up and turned on the lights so then he could see what it was, turns out it was a note. He opened up the note and weirdly enough it was addressed to him, the note read the following:

Dear Kinjo Tsurugi,

I have found a way out of this horrible place and I feel like it would be the smartest to tell you first.

I would like to meet you in the laundry room at 6 am alone presumably, there is a very valid reason why I picked this place out of any other, there are no cameras so Monokuma won't be able to see or hear what we are talking about.

I will be waiting there for you so please take this note into consideration.

The person knew an escape? That seems unlikely but that's not the only thing he got wrong, there's obviously a camera in the laundry room, the person is either stupid or didn't notice it and also why is the note not signed? But if the person who wrote this letter knows an exit I guess it's worth checking.

Tsurugi decided to trust this unknown person, he knew full well that this could've been a potentially murderer but he thought it's better to trust them before doubting them, they could've, although it's a small possibility found an actually escape route. The note said at 6 am and said they would like it more if he was along other than if he was with people so I'll just follow what it says, he knew how to defend myself, he's done it countless times.

He changed out of his pajamas and put on his usual clothes, he then just sat on his bed and used his Monopad until he had to go.

-Time skip to 5:45 am-

It's almost time to leave so I might as well. Tsurugi got up from his bed, put on some shoes and left to go to the laundry room, he decided to leave the note in his room, he had a good enough memory to remember what it said. He was able to get there in 5 minutes, Rei and Kinji normally are still awake at this time for some reason, maybe they are making sure no one dies? It was pretty easy getting past them, I simply just walked by and slipped into the laundry room. Now that I'm in the room all I have to do is wait for the person who wanted to meet me here.

I waited a minute and then I turned around, I was now on the ground and Mitch was on top of me with a hammer, I grabbed his hand and pushed it as far as I could from me.

"Mitch what the hell are you doing?" Tsurugi shout, he hope someone would be able to hear him.

"What does it look like I'm doing you bitch?" Mitch shouted back angrily.

"Looks like your trying to kill me but I th-" He cut him off.

"You thought I really found an exit and here I thought you were smart, it was only so then I could lure you here and you fell for it." Mitch said.

"I haven't fallen into your plan if I'm not dead yet." He said.

Tsurugi then tightened his grip on the arm Mitch was holding the weapon in and twisted it, Mitch screamed in agony but Mitch knew that he wasn't going to lose like this, he thought of the first thing that came to head he picked up his other hand which caused him to fall on top Tsurugi and used that hand to get the grip of Tsurugi's hand off.
