35 ( the interview)

we all started laughing before i spoke back up again.

" but for real when she gets into one of her moods i try and see how she's feeling first and if that doesn't get me anywhere i get her some international food and give her space until she's ready to talk" i said.

" y/n sounds like a literal keeper here folks" he said.

" she is and off the market for good" kehlani said.

he chuckled.

" y/n you are seriously talented"

" thank you" i said with a smile.

" you've been singing a lot more instead of rapping which we all love by the way your showing us a different side of yourself"

" i'm going to be honest... kehlani brings that soft side out of me where i just want to make a million and one loves songs a day for her"

" so she's ride or die to ya gangster" he said.

" basically she's seen me all beat up and the whole nine" i said.

" did she ever have to stitch you up" he asked.

" yeah plenty of times" kehlani chimed in.

" what she said" i chuckled.

" now kehlani your songs we all love but i feel like you made a few of them from a very personal level.. now we don't have to get personal-"

" yeah i did think people forgot that i was young going through one of the biggest heartbreak of my life" she said.

they all looked at me and i threw my hands up.

" she wasn't the one that broke my heart that time but she was my first official heartbreak" she chuckled.

" y/n you noo way" he said.

" listen as much as me and kehlani were in love we would just clash heads about certain things. i lived on the east of oakland and she lived on the west i ended up joining something that she wasn't too happy about. she found out and was upset. about maybe 8 months later we had a falling out and that was the end of kehlani and y/n" i said.

" kehlani how did you deal with that heartbreak" he asked.

" not as well as i deal with them now, i was a wreck just writing music and crying and smoking weed" she said.

" y/n how did you deal with it" he asked.

" weed" i said laughing.

they laughed with me.

" nahh but on a real note i never got over it i was literally lowkey miserable for the longest" i said.

" so kehlani do you guys think your soulmates or twin flames" he asked.

" oh yeah i feel like kehlani is my person and soulmate for sure" i said.

" same here because no matter what we always end up back to each other. the universe keeps us together some how some way" she said.

" is that a good thing"

" yeah it's a great thing because i never want to lose y/n, she's one of the most understanding people i have in my life and if she doesn't understand me she tries" kehlani said.

" what's y'all favorite thing about each other" he asked.

" mmm her personality" kehlani said.

" why" he said.

" because she's just an amazing person, so caring and kind, she is a little mean/evil at times, she funny as hell, and weird everything i've asked for in a person was put into y/n"

" y/n" he said.

" i can't choose so ima just say a bunch, the way her eyes light up when she talks about something she is very passionate about, her smile for sure, her voice, her personality, literally my favorite thing is just her" i said.

she started to blush a bit so she hid her face in the arm of my shirt.

" do you see kehlani as your wife in the future"

" i don't like to talk about marriage and stuff because i want it to happen whenever it happens but yeah i do i was in love with kehlani sinceee 6th grade i obviously want to marry her in the future" i said.

" and kehlani you started liking y/n in 8th grade you said once right" he said.

" yeah" she said still hiding her face.

" y/n how did you get passed your feelings when she was dating knowing you had strong feelings for her"

" it was rough i wanted to beat each and every single one of them up but i did end up fighting about 3 of them" i said.

" really"

" she fought my 8th grade boyfriend because he cheated on me, my 9th grade and 12th grade" kehlani said.

" are you cool with any of them"

" no because one they did me dirty and two my girlfriend would probably shoot the 12th grade one"

" kill and no probably will" i said correcting her.

" wow he is a very hated guy" he chuckled.

" oh for sure" i answered back.

" well that's all the time we have folks.. y/n and kehlani thank you both for coming up here" he said.

" no thank you for having me" i said.

" we would love to have you guys back" he said.

" cool just let us know and we will be here" kehlani said.

we ended the interview and was walking to the suv

" wanna go see my mother" i asked.

" aww yes i miss her" she said.

" i do too i've been calling her but she hasn't been answering so i need to do a check in" i said as we took off.
