Chapter 2 : SPACE

"Ru-ruto-ya! What are saying?", Kyu suddenly felt cold and scared.
" Yah! Is this a prank? It's not funny", he tried to lighten up the mood.

Ruto's face is still the same, that makes Kyu so scared and slowly stops smiling.

" Alright, I'll just leave you so you can rest, maybe you're really just exhausted for today. I'll just be in my room if u need anything, hm?", Kyu just opt to cut off and let is pass for the night.

He was about to stand when Ruto reached for his hand and stopped him. Kyu doesn't want to push through their talk cause honestly, he had a hunch, but the fear of hearing the truth is slowly killing him inside. He doesn't want to sleep and end the day carrying a heavy heart. He couldn't take it.

Without looking back, Kyu spoke first. "Just go to bed Ruto, if you're hungry, I kept your food in the microwave. You can just reheat it."

"Hyung..." Ruto tried to still stop him.

" I know, I heard you loud and clear Ruto, " he butted in. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. I'm used to it anyway. I'll give you the space you need. Sorry if I did something or you feel suffocated being with me....."

"No hyung, its not that... " Ruto tried to reason out But Kyu is already hurting, and with his personality, his mind has its own switch to suppressive mode. He's back to his defensive self not to show his weakness.

"We'll just talk next time, I remember I still have to finalize my lyrics", he excused to hurriedly get out from his room.

Junkyu rushed to his room, almost bumping into Hunsuk at the hallway.

"Yah! Kim Junkyu!" Hyunsuk tried to call him, but he already closed his door abruptly. "This Koala is really complicated sometimes, tsk, tsk,.... " he thought to himself while entering Haruto's room.

" Ruto, what's wrong with that Koala who... " Hyunsuk was about to ask Ruto but stopped suddenly when he saw the young guy silently sobbing still on the floor.

"Rutoya! What happened?!?", Hyunsuk rushed down to Ruto's position. He is still deciding if he will comfort him or interrogate him. He doesn't know what to ask so he opt to comfort him instead.

"Hyunsuk hyung..." ruto helplessly sobs. " What will I do Hyung.. huh?
I asked for a cool off from him.... " he continued. "I don't know if I made the right decision hyung... it hurts soo much here... " he cried harder while hitting his chest.

Hyunsuk was out of words. He doesn't know how to react nor give advice. Listening to Ruto is the only thing he knows he can do for now. Until the younger will calm down from crying and hopefully rest for the night. Hyunsuk knew it's not the right time to discuss and asked Ruto for the details. Tomorrow or another time will be more appropriate when emotions aren't too high.

"Let it all out kid, don't bottle up everything inside. You can cry in front of me all you want", encouraged Hyunsuk. " You don't have to tell me everything now, we can talk tomorrow at my studio. I'm done editing our track." He added.

" Thanks Hyung.. " Ruto finally stopped crying after a few more minutes of mumbling continuously. He apologized for his outburst and promised to visit his studio tomorrow for them to talk.

Ruto is grateful for Hyunsuk and
Yoshi as dorm mates and Hyungs, despite them knowing everything about Kyu and Him. They didn't oppose nor interfere with them, infact they supported them. They just constantly reminded them to make sure not to affect their responsibilities towards their work and the group. They didn't officially declared their label to their group mates but they caught up the couple vibe with their actions. Its nothing new anyway, since some members are having the same vibes too.

In the other room at the end of the hallway, Junkyu buried himself in his music. No matter how much he wanted to max out the volume, he can't help himself to hear Ruto's cries. When he finally heard them talking, he immediately put on his headphones. He decided not to listen to their conversation, and drown himself playing with the beats he's been working on. His hands has a mind of its own, as it started to scribble nonstop. Words, phrases, pouring out all his emotions into lyrics and probably created another master piece of his compositions.

Ruto fell asleep after the drama. He temporarily forgot his aching heart due to exhaustion. He might have fallen to sleep but in his dream, he is still hurting. Maybe out of longing, that he dreamt of sleeping with Kyu hugging him from behind.

In his dream, Kyu is rubbing his arms, as his usual habit before he falls asleep. Out of joy, he held Kyu's arms tightly around him, scared to let him go knowing soon he will wake up and realize its just a dream. He couldn't help himself from tearing even when asleep.
