Marcus stood abruptly, which caught the attention of the men. "What plan does Mr. Geller have to stop the terrorists?"
"He will explain that when he gets here," the director answered him and the room erupted into chatter again.
Marcus looked at Archie and they knew they had to get Xavier alone. This was their closest chance. Archie took out his phone under the table and sent a text to the others.
Back in the van, Amira felt as if she was frozen. What did this mean for them? How will they be able to expose a man who managed to snag himself such an important title?
Surely, no one would believe them.
I should have gone back to New York when I had the chance... she suddenly started to think to herself.
Kai noticed her apprehension and decided to hold her hand. "We'll get him. Don't worry,"
She shook her head. "No, Kai. I don't think we will. Do you really think someone like him is gonna face the law? For his crimes all he got was exile and even then he was always in London. We can't beat him,"
"We will," he reaffirmed. "It's the only way we can truly be safe,"
"What are we going to do, then? Threaten him? He almost killed us!"
"We need someone with the same power and connections," Kai pondered.
"We don't know anyone like that,"
"Maybe not... but I bet we can meet one,"
"How are we going to do that?" Amira wondered what Kai was up to.
"It's easy. I'm sure PJ can help us find someone,"

Jack leaned back in his chair and thought about what Brynne had said to him. What motive would Jordan have against Micah to frame him? If Brynne was insinuating that Jordan was the real culprit, then what would he gain?
He's only the acting CEO until the investigation is over and then the board will elect someone they believe is suitable. Jordan was only an assistant. He had nothing to gain from this.
He decided to look up whatever he could find on Jared and Jordan. Jack stared at their photos together and wondered what could have led Brynne to think that way.
Just out of curiosity, he called his friend who recently got into private investigating since Kai was still on vacation.
"Hey, it's Jack. I need a favor. I want a detailed list of Jordan Williams' finances. Everything he spent and everything he earned. Who he sent money to and vice versa. Can you do it?"
"I'll get it to you in two days,"
Two days was a bit longer than he had wanted but he wasn't going to complain. He just hoped whatever it was would be worth it when it came.

Brynne sat on her bed and stared at her phone for the longest while. She desperately wanted to call Micah but she knew he wouldn't take her call... just like he'd been doing all day.
She laid in her bed with a huff. Micah's words came back to her, and she wondered if everyone else thought the same way. Was she really only absorbed in Micah?
She didn't want to believe it but maybe he was right... now that she couldn't be with him, she had no one else to talk to or call. She had no friends from school to study with or even to grab a coffee.
