"Don't worry about anything, okay? We're going to be right across the hall here." I told Rachel.

"Everything's gonna be fine, Joyce. We just want to be extra careful." O'Hara told her.

"Thanks."

"Don't worry."

I kissed her on the cheek.

"Whoo!" Her students commented.

Rachel went into her classroom.

"Alright, alright. Settle down."

Phoebe and me walked into the classroom.

I blew my whistle.

"Good morning."

"Good morning, Mr. Kimble." They greeted.

"Sit down."

They all sat down.

"It's very nice to see you all again."

They were eyeing her.

"Meet my very good friend, Phoebe O'Hara."

"Good morning, Phoebe." They greeted.

"Now, Miss. O'Hara is going to talk to you about something very important. So, I want you to pay real attention to what she has to say, okay?"

"Remember, no fear." I reminded Phoebe.

"Thanks."

She stood in front of the class.

"Yeah?"

"Boys have a penis. Girls have a vagina."

All of the kids laughed.

I sat on the Piano bench.

"Well, you taught them the basics. That's important."

I smiled.

"Okay, now... Today we're gonna talk about something else that's really important. Today we're gonna talk about strangers. Like, let's say you're at home and a stranger knocks on your door... You should never answer the door. Never. Because we never talk to strangers. Okay, why don't we all say that together."

"We never talk to strangers." They all said.

"Right-- Okay, let's say--"

"How about kids? Can we talk to kids?" Emma questioned.

"Yeah, it's okay. You can talk to kids. That's alright."

"What about dogs?"

"Huh?"

"Can we talk to dogs?"

"Yeah. You can talk to dogs. That's okay. But what you can't do... What you must never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever do is..."

"Never talk to strangers." They said together.

Cullen

I was in the Principle, Miss Schlowski's office, lying that I was interested in enrolling a kindergartener.

"On the kindergarten level... We try to emphasize the three C's-- Caring, courtesy, and courage."

"Courage. That's my philosophy too."

"Are you a single parent, Mr. Green?"

"No. My Wife had to stay behind in Phoenix to complete the sale of our home. She asked me to check out the local schools before we committed to buying a home here."
