But in contrast to Seungmin's sickness, Hyunjin's constant puking didn't go away after two days.

The weekend they had wanted to
use to see some places in Tokyo
were spent in the older's room,
Seungmin always made sure
that his boss drank enough tea,
slept enough and also ate a bit
of solid food.

And the flight back to Seoul
was also horrible, Hyunjin had
been just fine when they had
waited for their plane but the moment the food was served,
he suddenly couldn't stand the
smell of the sweet pork that
was served.

And his secretary could only
hold the older's hair as he emptied
his stomach into the vomit bag with those heartbreaking whimpers.

At first Seungmin just blamed it
on the food but when it didn't
stop and Hyunjin got more and
more nauseous at random times,
he slowly got a bad feeling.

When he came to the office the
next day, his boss was there
although he had forbidden him
to come since he still didn't look
any better.

The ravenette was dozing on his couch, cuddled up under the soft fleece blanket and only opening his eyes when Seungmin knelt in front
of him and caressed his cheek.

"How are you feeling?"

"Dead."

"Oh no, do you want some tea?"

"Hm.
My chest hurts."

"I'm not sure how I can help
with that but I'll go make you
a tea and after you drink that,
I'll bring you home.
No compromises!"

And Hyunjin was honestly too exhausted to complain and
just nodded softly.

"And if you don't feel any
better tomorrow, you'll go to
the doctor's, okay?"

"Mhm."

Seungmin could only frown as he shook his head a bit, he was worried and had a bad feeling about this.

For a reason because he knew something was definitely wrong
when Hyunjin called him the next
day after his doctor's visit with
a mixture of exhaustion, overwhelming, sadness and
anger in his voice.

"Jinnie?
What's wrong?
Were you at the doctor's?"

"Are you free right now?"

The older sniffled softly.

"I- uh sure?"

"I'll send you an address,
please go there and bring
some donuts and mustard.
Thank you."

"Okay? I'll be there in-"

But Hyunjin had already hung up leaving a very confused puppy boy
in the big office.

Seungmin made his way to the location his boss had sent him,
of course not forgetting to get the
donuts and mustard Hyunjin had wanted him to get and he was honestly already thinking of
buying some sedative as well,
the older had sounded so
emotional on the phone.

The address was in one of those expensive apartment complexes,
Seungmin had always wondered who'd even have enough money to live there but now he knew it.

Hwang Hyunjin was one of them.

He lived on the top floor to be
exact and the brunette had already felt a bit insecure when he had walked down the fancy looking
foyer in his plain red hoodie and black skinny jeans, the people
there had looked so weirdly
at him.

Could also be because of the box of donuts and the mustard in his hands.

Once he finally stood in front
of Hyunjin's door he didn't even hesitate to ring the bell, his worry getting the best of him.

"Jinnie?"

The younger pouted softly and reached his hand out to cup the ravenette's cheek when the older
opened the door.

He looked horrible,
his eyes bloodshot and decorated
by dark bags under them and his
hair was oily and tied into a
very messy ponytail.

Seungmin's heart ached,
his boss looked so sick.

He had never seen Hyunjin with
his hair tied together though and
he really liked it, it looked nice.

But there was no time to drool
over the older's looks right now,
he was sick and needed someone
to take care of him so Seungmin would gladly volunteer.

He smiled sadly when Hyunjin
leaned into the warm touch of his hand and closed his eyes.

"Let's go inside, hm?"

"Yeah."

The older took the brunette's
hand and pulled him inside to
one of those couches before he already disappeared again in
another room.

To say that Seungmin felt weird
was quite an understatement,
he was sitting on a couch in his
boss's apartment that probably
costs more than his entire existence with a package of donuts and
mustard on his lap.

What a moment.

He only looked up from picking
on his nails when Hyunjin returned with a few papers in his hands and
sat down beside his secretary.

"Do you know what this is?"

He didn't hesitate to get to the
point and directly pointed on
a marked part of the sheet he
was showing Seungmin.

It was the result of a blood sample.

HcG was the word that was marked.

"Not really?"

Hyunjin only nodded and kept
his pokerface making it hard for
the younger to read what was
going on in his head.

"Then you might know what this is."

Y'all thought haha...
