I was being introduced to my friend's, friend, Isabelle being a weird person forgot we existed while looking at her menu of drinks and food, her friend looked at me and I shot her a look too, waiting for her to introduce us to each other.

After she looked at us and said "Oh! You two haven't met." We nodded and then she introduced us, "Avalon this is Rose, Rose this is Avalon." Then went back to reading her menu.

I shook my head and motioned to rose to take a seat. She obliged and gave me a small smile.

I took out my hand to let her shake it, she took it and shook it as planned.

"So what brings you out here tonight?" I said trying to start a conversation.

She understood what I was trying to do and said "Just enjoying myself for a good night, the husband said I could go out and have some fun."

I nodded my head and was taken aback by how she took orders from her husband, but I guess everyone's relationship is different.

"Look I know what your thinking," she said while looking down at the table ashamed.

"No, no, it's not my business." I smiled and she looked up, it wasn't my business and it wasn't my place.

Isabelle got up and went to the drink bar, leaving us unexpectedly.

"She's a weird one isn't she?" I nodded my head at her comment knowing it was true.

We sat in silence for a couple of moments until she got a call from someone. She did a small sorry and took the phone call.

Me being a little nosey I decided to eavesdrop in the conversation.  "Yeah, I'm just at the bar with a friend." She said continuing with, "No I'm not wearing anything too revealing, I am a grown woman so what does it matter?"

I felt sorry for the woman, listening to whatever her husband had to say, being controlled by a man who she was supposed to love. But I just met her so I would know nothing.

After her conversation, she ended the call and sighed putting her face in her hands. I guess I felt like being a therapist tonight, "What's wrong?" I asked.

"It's nothing," she shook her head her voice muffled from being in her hands. I nodded and let her be knowing she'll talk eventually.

"It's just my husband, he's so controlling and it's frustrating." I nodded my head.

"I shouldn't do this to you," she shook her head, "I should go tell Isabelle it was a nice ni-"

"No, it's fine," I said putting a hand on her's as she was about to sit up. "I'm used to listening to problems surprisingly," I said smirking.

I saw a smile creep up on her face. It was true, I was the one to call to talk about people's feelings, even while I was in military land. Even after I was practicing shooting people, at the end of the day I was still the therapist.

It got tiring sure, but it was okay, but it felt nice to be needed by people, I was lonely and by myself all the time so it was nice.

We looked at each other for a moment and sat in silence. "I have to use the bathroom," she blurted out. I nodded and she took her hand from mine.

She left to use the bathroom and I was curious as to why the moment felt so interrupted, I guess it was the tension, I then realized how much I needed to use the bathroom as well.

Getting up and walking to the bathroom, I walked into the stall and shut the door. I heard sniffles from a stall next to me, I knew who it was.

I wiped, flushed then, exited the stall. I saw Rose leaning over the bathroom counter, splashing her face with water. She looked in the mirror and seen me staring.

I walked to the sink beside her and washed my hands. She walked beside me and I turned to look at her as well.

"Can I try something?" I asked her, she nodded her head. I put my hand on either side of her shoulders. I then put my hands on her waist, looking at her and asking for more consent, she nodded and I continued.

I trace her curves slowly, she smiles and says, "He never appreciates my body like this."

When I get to her thighs I go back up to her waist, "It was something my ex did to me to calm me down."

She nodded and said, "I feel way better," and smiled.

I took my hands off of her and stood there, her next move surprised me. She cupped my face and kissed me.

I was taken aback but didn't care it was nice, and a sudden move.

She stopped and apologized, "I'm sorry, I just feel a little freer and since of clarity around you, I just needed something to make that feeling last longer."

"It's fine," I told her, she was about to walk away so grabbed her hand and started kissing her lips.

Knowing it would hunt me back sooner or later, I didn't care, I was lonely, a bit desperate, I guess shooting guns doesn't help anything but your country out.
