Ladies, and Gentlemen, Her!

"Never again! Never again! Never again! Never again" were the only words repeatedly chanting in her head as she practiced in the gym. Tomorrow is going to be her first day in Emperor Law and Medical University of London. She was already a talk of the school. Who joins a medical school in the middle of a semester? Let alone four of them. Kali and Mac had already attend class today. The administration had told her to come the next day because they needed to inquire about her deeds to the two of them. Whatever! She thought, as she stopped and wiped her face with the damp towel on her shoulder. If her actions were about to be judged even before she enters that's not going to be her issue. She knew what she did, and she needed no validation to know what she did was right.

She was offered a scholarship from this university after everything that happened due to her cgpa and Caden. Life was already a mess for almost everyone and this was her only way or rectifying it. It was already late night. She better head back to her home so that she isn't late for her class tomorrow. She slowly pulled up at the apartment Kali, Mac, Caden and herself shared. By the time she reached the door she could almost sense the emptiness inside. Everyone must be sleeping by now, she didn't want to disturb anyone so she slowly unlocked and entered inside. Surprisingly, the kitchen was still illuminating with a dim yellow light and Caden was having leftover pizza.

"You good, darling?"

"Kinda" she sighed. "Why are you still up?"

"I was waiting for you. I wanted to tell you something about tomorrow. I didn't expect the lecturers to ask about everything to Kali and Mac. They're also planning to call you up to the stage in the assembly tomorrow morning. Just keep calm no matter what, and don't react to anything."

She looked at him for a minute then sat beside him ; took a slice and helped herself. "Okay. Whatever Caden. Don't think much about this. It's the only way."

Even Caden was surprised at her calm reply. He knew she was going through a lot at the moment.

"Goodnight darling" "Goodnight Caden" were the only greets shared . She stood up and went to her bedroom. She was emotionally tired to deal with these stuffs. She took a quick shower and slept , the only thing she should even bother to care was the class tomorrow.

She was staring at the huge letters that read Emperor Law and Medical University of London. She sighed as she got down of her car with Caden, Kali and Mac. Caden scrunched his eyebrows checking his watch and turned to her "We've got 5 more minutes to assemble. Let's go" She grabbed her backpack, and followed him to the hall.

Monday was the only day they needed to assemble , since they had to cancel it yesterday they were asked to postponed it today where her so called informal introduction will also be taking place. As she entered the hall , she stood with Kali because their timetable were the same.

A tall brunette lady wearing a black pencil skirt and yellow plain blouse walked up to her and stood right in front of her. Mrs. Rose was engraved in the tag she was holding . she had a fair complexity , bright brown eyes and the rimmed glasses she wore only made her appear more classy and beautiful.

"Leave your bag here when you're called to the stage. There's a black space between the lecturers and the flower decorations on the left. There is a black mark there. Just stand there." With that, Mrs.Rose walked up to the stage and took her place in the front row.

As the morning began, the principle gave his speech about the institute's dignity and pretentiousness and how graduates must uphold it at all times. After that, Mrs.Rose walked up to the mic and said "Good morning students. As we have already inform you all yesterday about the new students who will be attending our university. As all of you have already known Mr. Kali and Ms, Mackayla. I would now like to call upon Ms. Maya up to the stage"

Maya slowly handed her bag to Kali and walked up to the stage. She was sure that she had already created an image about herself in the student's head with her dark outfit. She looked nice and classy with a usual suit with the bow tie undid, not over or under dressed. Her heels clicked on the wooden ground as she walked. Her steps steady almost with a hint of arrogance and dominance. Her eyes looking straight ahead at Mrs.Rose who called her upon. She went up to the stage and stood on the mark she was told to stand on. She crossed her arms , and looked at the graduates in the hall.

Caden and Kali exchanged worried looks. They knew Mrs.Rose called her just to humiliate her. But that was the last thing they cared about . They just prayed that Maya didn't lose control. They hoped no matter what Mrs.Rose threw at her, Maya wouldn't snap.

Just as they thought, when Maya stood there Mrs.Rose held the mic and said "Ladies and Gentlemen, I introduce you to the student with a magnificent academic score who is believed to be able to make our university a first class ranked university. But I warn you , I want none of you to have anything to do with her ."

Maya turned towards Mrs.Rose and raised an eyebrow clearly confused on how this speech is going on. She watched as Mrs.Rose face her with a disgusted look and continue "... because in our eyes she is nothing but heartless, unsympathetic murderer.
