I bit down on my bottom lip keeping myself from crying. I didn’t want him to go; finally when things were going okay he was deciding to walk away. He couldn’t just stay like he had been doing.

“Bye.” I spat out.

I felt when his warm lips touched my cheek. I closed my eyes taking in the moment. “I love you.” He whispered in my ear. He stood up straight and walked out the room leaving me in there by myself.

I tried breathing but I couldn’t, I was fully awake now and when I tried to take in air I couldn’t. A nurse came rushing over to me taking out the tube they had inserted down my throat.

Jaydon came rushing towards me telling me to take in deep breathes. “W-where’s…” I coughed. “Alejandro,”

“You have to lay down again Julie you aren’t in the best condition,” He ignored my question completely.

I gulped. “Jaydon where is he?” I questioned him again.

Jaydon stayed quiet for a minute. “Arianna and him left town,” He replied.

So I wasn’t dreaming, he really was here. He gave me his explanation and then left. I touched my cheek with my hand running my fingertips over the place he had kissed me.

“What happened?” I asked him slowly filling my lungs with air again.

“I stepped out for a moment to use the bathroom and when I came back the doctors were in here, they thought you’re lungs collapse because you were having trouble breathing again. “ He explained to me how they had to shove a tube down my throat and put me back to sleep.

Jaydon sat on the edge of the bed giving me a kiss onto of my head. “You gave me a scare.” He whispered.

“I’m sorry, I guess I been so stressed with preparing the engagement party that I forgot to keep myself calm.” I lied. I knew why I had an asthma attack again. Whenever my stress levels went overboard they automatically trigged the attacks, so when I went off on Ale it was the main cause why it happened.

I grabbed onto Jaydon’s hand and kissed his palm. “I love you,” I placed my head on his chest signaling him that I wanted some type of comfort.

A part of me hates that Alejandro left but another par of me didn’t care. He could no longer be part of my life and even if he says sorry a million times I wouldn’t leave Jaydon.

Jaydon cares about me more than anyone guy I ever met. He understands my stubbornness and he knows that even though I might still be in love with Ale, I wouldn’t leave him.

“I feel tired and worn out,” I chuckled.

He rolled his eyes at me. “I think it’s cause in the last seventy-two hours you had two asthma attacks,” He teased me.

I snickered at him pushing him off the bed. His body plopped on the floor with a hard thud. He glared at me pretending to be mad at me before he began laughing with me.
