"According to Hogwarts: A History, the sorting hat places you into the House with the traits you value most. For example, I believe I'd do well in Ravenclaw, as I value wit and hard work, but Gryffindor's traits are more valuable to me: courage and bravery."

"For the first time in forever, that's the only time I appreciate the thorough explanation."

"If you want to stay alive for your sorting, Ronald, I suggest you shut up before your nose snaps in half."

The ginger gulped.

"Now, back to what I was saying. Anakin, what traits do you value most?"

The sandy-haired boy didn't answer immediately. After a moment, however, he said, "courage, loyalty, wit, leadership, cunning, and determination."

When he realized he was on the receiving end of the Granger girl's stares, he explained hastily, "If there's ever the need to fight, say, a Dark wizard, courage is one of the most important values if you want to survive. Then there's wit. You can't win a war with only courage. Charging headfirst into battle without a strategy is suicide. Loyalty is equally as important because betraying your army, your friends is unforgivable. Finally, leadership, determination, and cunning. Somebody needs to be a responsible leader, whether it be a captain in a war, a prefect, the Head Boy, and Girl, or Head of House. Without order, the world would quite literally collapse. There is, in my opinion, no good leader without determination, and cunning."

Hermione stared at him. Clearly, someone had done some reading beforehand. "I think you would do very well in Slytherin, Anakin, as you seem to value more of its traits over that of the other Houses. Not to worry though, the Hat will determine everything. Let's go change before we arrive."

"Firs' Years, Firs' Years, this way please!" A voice boomed over the students' heads. Harry, Hermione, Ahsoka, Anakin, and Ron, now all clad in Hogwarts robes, stepped out of the train.

"Hagrid!"

"Ello there, 'Arry, how are yer doin'? I see yer brought some friends."

"Yeah, I did. This is Ron, Hermione, Anakin, and Ahsoka."

"Ello you four, I'm Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds of Hogwarts. We'll talk over a cup o' tea, eh? I need to bring yer Firs' Years to Professor McGonagall for the Sorting."

They gladly agreed. With Hagrid taking the lead in the first boat, the friends clambered into the second, watching in fascination as the many towers and turrets of Hogwarts Castle loomed in the distance. If reality hadn't hit them already, it definitely did now.

"Alrigh', this is where I leave ya. Professor McGonagall will be ready for you shortly."

"So it's true then," an icy voice sneered as soon as Hagrid was out of earshot, "Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts."

"Harry Potter?"
"Is it really Harry Potter?"
"I can't believe it! Maybe I'll be lucky enough to get an autograph!"

A girl emerged from the shadows, with two other on her trail "This is Barriss, and Alina. I'm Bardot," she said. "Kyrena Bardot."
