Part 7

'Okay if you're really not tired we can go watch a movie and have some quiet time or you can try and go to sleep what do you want to do?' She crossed her arms and shouted. 'I wan' play!' I brushed her hair from her face and held onto her arms gently. 'Nat listen to me it's almost midnight you need to rest.' She started getting annoyed. 'No s'eepy me play.' 'Nat you do not have to sleep but you need to rest. If you do not stop being naughty you are going in a timeout. So you can either apologise and make a decision from the choices I gave you or you can go in timeout and then go to bed now alone whilst I watch a movie.' I said firmly but Nat just got more tense. 'NO!' She shouted then ran away. 'Well that went well.' Tony said sarcastically I shot him a look. I felt the tears prick my eyes. 'She is gonna hate me.' Tony sighed 'trust me she doesn't Nat worships you. It's been a rough night plus candy makes kids go crazy sometimes.' I look at him confused. 'Candy?' He laughed. 'You didn't notice? That's a kid on a sugar rush if I've ever seen one.' He shows footage of Nat running in circles. 'Plus her tongue is like twenty shades of colour. She definitely tasted the rainbow.' He laughed but I just turned. 'Wanda! I told you to stop.' She shot me an innocent look. 'I swear that wasn't me. I put them on the top shelf.' We all walked out and saw Nat running around the kitchen island. 'So either Nat took the whole black widow thing seriously and got lessons from spider kid on how to climb walls or someone got them for her.' Tony shrugged and looked at everyone individually but no one said anything.

'What's up with Lady Natasha?' Thor's voice boomed we all looked at each other. 'Thor did you give Nat skittles?' His smile faded to confusion. 'Yes why did you not want them?' My face mirrored his confusion. 'Nat told me you were hurt and she wanted to give you them to make you feel better so I got them down for her? Did I do something wrong?' I smiled slightly at him. 'Don't worry YOU didn't do anything wrong.' I glanced over at Nat sighed then walked over. 'Hey I need to talk to you!' I grabbed Nat lifted her up and carried her to my room. 'I need you to be honest with me. After I told you no more candy did you eat more?' She shook her head. 'Okay... then why is your tongue that colour?' She shifted nervously then put her head down. 'I did eat candy I sowwy' I lifted her chin so she was looking at me. 'I am very disappointed in you Nat.' Her face fell. 'You lied to me and you lied to Thor, you stole candy when you knew you weren't allowed it then shouted at me and we're being disrespectful. Now I want you to go stand in the corner till I come get you.' She just nodded and stood in the corner. 

I left the room ' Jarvis can you tell me if Nat moves or when the five minutes is over. 'Yes of course.' I was going to go into the living room again but I didn't want to leave Nat so I waited a bit further down the corridor. The five minutes passed by really slowly but Jarvis alerted me the time was up so I went to see Nat. 'Nat do you know why I put you in timeout?' 'I ate candy and I lied.' She played with her fingers. 'Yeah but I'm not as upset about the candy because you made a mistake and that's okay but lying about it is not okay. And did you know you almost go Thor in trouble for helping you, that wouldn't have been fair would it.' 'No I sowwy y/n.' I gave her a hug 'Thank you for apologising I love you and I forgive you but you need to come and apologise to Thor and the others.' I held out my hand and she took it. 'Hey guys Nat has something she wanted to say.' 'I really sowwy I was bad.' She looked directly at Thor. 'And I'm sorry I lies to you.' They all smiled and comforted her saying things like 'It's okay we forgive you Nat we love you.' I saw her start to smile again.

'Good job Nat but now you have to go to bed so say goodnight and I'll come tuck you in in a second.' Everyone said their good nights Nat went to her room and I then said goodnight to everyone too before going to find Nat I saw her through her bathroom door brushing her teeth. 'I'm proud of you Nat you made a mistake but you fixed it and apologised and that's not an easy thing to do. You almost ready for bed now?' 'Yeah.' When she spoke a toothpaste shot out covering her chin in foam. I couldn't help but laugh before grabbing a wash cloth and wiping her face. 'You always find a way to make a mess. How do you look so cute even when your covered in toothpaste?' Nat shrugged and giggled, when she was done she climbed into bed and I lay next to her but she moved further away. 

'Wow okay my own little doesn't want to cuddle me.' I say over exaggerating my pain but Nat quickly rolled over. 'Y/n 'uddle Nat?' I nodded 'but you says-'  'I know, but I think you learnt your lesson right? Plus I think we both need some cuddles right now. What do you think?' She didn't say anything but just flopped into my arms. 'Your little.' I pulled the covers up higher and wrapped my arms around her. 'My little.'
