Max x reader or smthing :')

Part 12

I walk out with nerris, Harrison, and Preston, talking about making stuff and how i draw from time to time. 

After some walking we split up so they could go to their activity's. 

I sigh, knowing I don't have one.

"Y/n~~"

"Ugh nikki what do you want."

she smirks, unfazed from my reaction.

Kind of feel bad for her, who knows what she could have gone through? 

Shake that out of your head, y/n

You are NOT soft.

"So~ whats with you and max?"

I start laughing. hard.

She thinks i like HIM?

She cocks her head, confused at my reaction.

"I-" I stiffle some laughs to talk "I do NOT like HIM"

"oh" 

I had lost it.

I was crying at this point, when neil and max came.

"So what happened here?"  Neil asked. 

Max glared at me, but i swear i say a small smirk.

"N-nikki thought,," I paused for some laughs "I liked someone"

"Hm? what's so bad about th-" 

"She thought I liked you max"

Thats when max lost it to.

Apparently it was speading  because neil and nikki started laughing to.

Nikki was mostly disappointed though. 

I wiped my tears and calmed down, returning to my shitty mood like the flash of lightning. 

"I'm gonna go now.."

I turn around from their confused faces and run straight into david. 

"Owch-"

"Y/n! I wanted to ask you what your activity was!"

I stare at him in the eye, feeling my mood deflating even more. 

"Oh."

He must have saw the slight grief in my eyes because the next thing he said was "You dont have to tell me i mean I-" 

"I dont have one." 

I looked behind me as i said it, sighing from relief that nobody else heard. 

The LAST thing i would want is a pity party. 

I would get crushed by the attention. 

"Oh okay! Whats something you like to do?" 

Hes looking on the bright side again.

This is exactly the reason why i hate him.

"I dont wanna talk about it."

thats when i left. 

the awkward tension was getting to me

and the worst part had to be the raven fluffy hair hiding behind the bush.
