THIRD YEAR AT TEIKO: Generation of Miracles now in their second year
The warm sun radiates onto the large middle school as well as the rest of Tokyo where two teenagers walk under the veranda, crates of bottles in hand.
"You really don't have to help me, ( Y/n )-chan." Momoi says, turning her head to smile up at you. You return the action with a happy shrug.
"Don't worry about it, Satsuki-chan." You say, raising your head as you both turn a corner, a water fountain greeting you. You both walk onto either side of it and turn on the taps, placing the crates on the bench next to you.
"Waaah, it's so hot." Momoi quietly whines as she twists a lid and places it under the tap. You hum, also unscrewing a bottle under the fountain across her.
"So... How long have you and Haizaki-senpai been dating?" Momoi asks you, giving you a closed eye smile as you feel yourself stiffen up.
You couldn't hide the shaky smile that was subconsciously crawling across your face or the way your eyes light up upon hearing that question. You thought the way your chest warmed up with your cheeks and neck was embarrassing as you shake your head.
"If I'm being honest... I don't know." You quietly reply, causing Momoi's eyes to widen when she hears how soft your voice was, almost as if you were shy about the topic.
