Chapter 1: Cassian

The loud sound of alarm wake me up from my deep slumber, i stir in my bed and trying to reach the alarm to turn it off.
"oh great it's first day of senior year"

sarcastic much.
i walk to the bathroom and look at my reflection on the mirror.
A pair of big beautiful blue eyes is staring back at me make me smile. I brush my teeth and have hot shower and dry my silky smooth waist long silver white hair.
"what to wear today?" i put my finger on my chin and tilt my head and look at all my clothes in the walk in wardrobe.

Then i choose to be simple yet comfy since it's still spring and a little cold so let's go with oversized white hoodie sweater and black jeans and matching sneakers.
I look at my reflection on the big side mirror in the wardrobe and twirl a little i almost tripped over my own feet and laugh at my own silliness.

"oh gosh im so stupid let's go see what mama cook for breakfast"
i walk out of the closet while muttering to myself and walk down the stairs and speed off when i smell the sweet and delicious smell i know it's my favorite.

"morning mama" she turn around to put the last of the waffles on the plate n smile at me.
i greet her while my hands reach the food and take my seat beside my twin brother Carter and greet everyone.
"morning gentlemen" my dada look at me funny and smile while shaking her head.
"morning princess" she greet me.
"morning sis" greet Carter.
I take my seat and start eating.
"morning baby how you feeling for your first day of senior year, excited? " my mama come around n kiss my head and ask the usual question of the year.
"sigh no im not" im not excited at all but i got the feeling this year gonna be different a good one i think.

we have a nice chat and our usual family morning routine end when we have to go to school and dada have to get ready to get to work while mama she usually at home if she doesn't have any interesting case that picked her interest. Mama she actually a good lawyer the best in the city but she stop being a full time lawyer 5 years ago she said she wanna spend more time with her family and already had her fill of the job. My dada you see she work for her dad as a CEO dada is an only child so one day she will take over once grandpa retired. I think our family is wealthy enough to be recognized as the top in the country.

Oh i will go to school with Carter he will drive his car, i do have my own car but mama forbid me from driving in the early morning since im such a sleepy head one day i almost crash the pitiful tree on the road side.

Carter is a fan of Lamborghini so dada gift to him a yellow bull which is his favorite Huracan Lamborghini on his 17th birthday last year. I don't care what type of car as long it's pretty cool and fast i own a red Ferrari but never drive it to school it's a pity or else i could show off my car a little.

While having this though we arrive at school parking lot and Carter turn off the engine and we walk out of the car and then i heard male voice call his name.
"Carter!! yo what's up man"
they do the hand things i don't know.. well boys... "yo man how's you doing huh" Carter greet him oh i think his name Lee or something. I ignore them and walk again they catch up to me and still talking i realized Lee keep staring but i ignored it all the time i don't talk to any of Carter's friends and he fine with it in this school i only have one friend Jannah she my only same age friends all of my best friends is 2 years older and now in college i miss them so much of course we meet all the time and they live quite close by and our parents is bff too.

Jannah is different we meet in highschool on my freshman year she the first person ever talk to me i know i sound pathetic but i usually ignore everyone and put on cold air around me but she is the carefree and crazy type of friend that doesn't care and never read the air sigh.

"bitchhhh *squel*" i heard from the end of the hallway and sounds of footsteps running towards me and leap on my arms.
"morning Jannah" while steadying my body, this girl i swear she eat stones or something to be so heavy even though she so small.

"hahaha mornin Cass!" she smile so widely at me even though i think of bad things about her in my mind sorry
"what do you think about my leap? it's awesome right i swear it's my new record i was like 4 steps away from you" she talk excitedly didn't she know she heavy and it's dangerous we both could fall and i would be the one took all the impact.

"sigh u heavy" she gasp dramatically "what! no way! u kidding ahaha" yeah this girl is unbelievable.

we was walking and talking after Carter said his goodbyes and walk off with his friends to get to his locker while i was about to reach mine with an old neighbor lady on my side still happily talking about her life when suddenly someone push me to the locker. "shit-
