Relationship goals

Starting as a crush..? on your middle school best friend, then becoming high school sweethearts, then college, and eventually adulthood. No matter what their relationship was, from the day Borislav and Kaloyan became friends in 5th grade, they were always together. Questioning and denying these "weird feelings", they made it past 5th grade, then 6th, then 7th.. And in the middle of 8th grade, on one Friday during spring, they admitted their love to each other, surrounded by the blooming flowers.
And as nice as being in a relationship with a person you've liked for years is, it wasn't that easy for them.  They had to keep their relationship fully in secret - they had to act homophobic, while also making gay jokes about each other without seeming odd, they had to search for places around the neighbourhood where they could be themselves without the risk of anyone they know seeing them, they even had to make their own coded alphabet, as well as keywords for when they're talking, so they could communicate throughout the day without raising any suspicion. It surely was hard, but they managed to keep up, and soon got used to living like this. Both of them were willing to do this for years if they had to, if it meant that they could be together. Of course they were almost caught a few times, but luckily they were able to get away without anyone finding out.
  And after a few years they went to the same college, as well as a few other people from their previous class. Soon they formed a friend group with the guys from their previous class and a few new ones. Hiding their relationship wasn't that hard in college actually. Now they had their own dorms, which solved most of their problems. Of course they had to be careful when going in each other's dorms - they didn't want to risk their friends or someone who knows their friends seeing them, or else they could raise suspicion. But after what they've been through, that wasn't hard. If they ever went to parties they made sure to not get drunk, so they wouldn't accidentally reveal their secret. Some months passed by and they found out that most of their friends were over their homophobic phase and actually had a few gay friends, so they discussed it and when they got the courage, they told them. Most of them were pretty supportive and the ones that knew them in middle and high school even congratulated them for doing so good in keeping their relationship hidden, and the few that weren't that happy about it don't matter much, because they soon left the friend group. The poor couple felt so great to finally be able to get it off their chest - the secret they've been keeping for years, giving them so much trouble but making them great liars in the process. They were bursting with happiness the moment they were finally able to be a couple in public, a thing that most people get for granted. Soon after that they came out to their parents as well, which didn't go perfect but it was good enough for them to keep their relationship with their families good.
Everything was great, and before they knew it it was time for graduation. Not much after that, the day came - while being on a sweet date together, Borislav took a small box out of his pocket, which contained a ring inside followed by a loud happy "Yes!" by Kaloyan and a free desert. They were now engaged, happily placing and waiting for their wedding day to come.
And soon enough, it did. They were both very nervous, but also so excited, this was the day when they will be officially bonded for life, when they will finally be able to call their partner "my husband". Borislav was standing nervously in front of the altar. His jaw dropped when Kaloyan showed up in a beautiful while dress, full of wonderful small details. He went in front of Borislav and as the priest started talking, he recalled all the moments they had together since they met in 5th grade - both good and bad, scary and romantic. They spent most of their life being careful and cautious, going through all sorts of things and feeling all sorts of emotions, all for the sake of being together, and they knew it was all worth it. They both said "I do", and that was the moment when they became officially married.
With the rest money they had saved up, they bought a great big apartment and made it their home. Not long after that, Kaloyan got pregnant, and nine months later, on June 2nd, their healthy baby girl came to life. And that was it - they were married, had their own home and child, and most importantly - they loved each other. Their life was perfect, and everyone would agree on that, including themselves.
