Chapter 32: Endure The Pain

I live in stohess district

A place where rich and elegant people live

I live in a small house

the town is nearby especially a library

When I was a child I have an addiction of reading books

I go to days of not eating just because I wanted to finish the book

I also go to school

But I sometimes feel out of place I wasn't rich like them I had an exception since my mom works with a famous noble men

I always see the kids with their family whenever we have events in our school

My mother doesn't attend to those kind of events

Well because she doesn't want me to be connected to her in public

Since she's a famous assassin

Nobles order her to kill their enemies in exchange of money to survive

In public eyes they see her as a merciless assassin with no heart at all but in my eyes I see a beautiful sweet loving mother

I understand her situation so I didn't hate her for that because I know she is only doing it for me

For I could live a normal life

My mother said I'm too understanding for a young child like me

The whole town thinks I'm a very peculiar child to mature for my age

So I didn't have friends at all

Because they only talk to high class rich kids

My mother raised me by herself

I have met my real father once

It was a mere coincidence

I was walking through the streets in my town

I just borrowed a book from the library

So I started reading it

I was so fascinated with the story when I accidentally trip on to the mud

I tried seeking for help with the people passing by but they simply ignored

They would never bother to help a girl covered in mud in the streets

They were looking down on me

I couldn't stand because my ankle hurts

It was so painful so I started crying

When I saw a tall man in front of me

"Are you ok?" he asked with a gentle voice

I look up to see his face

I had eye contact I stare at his blue eyes the same shade as mine

I felt a sudden surge of energy

I felt like I had a connection with him

"What happened?" he asked he kneel beside me

"I broke my ankle and fell in the mud" I said between sobs

"Is that so, I should take you to the doctor" he said

"No need my mother can take care of me. She is good at tending with my wounds" I said to him

My mother always get injured so she practice basic first aid

"And seeing a doctor is quite expensive here. I don't want to bother you sir" I said
