You Lied

"I want you" I told her

"You'll get over it" she replied

"No, you dont understand-"
she cut my words short and started talking

"You dont know me yet. You'll be like everyone else, you will leave me in the long run"  

I was just looking at those sorrowful eyes

"I've been left by those peeps who also promised to be staying so I know how it exactly feels like to be left alone"

"Look, I am not like them, I will be there for you through ups and downs. I will be with you all the way just promise me you'll do the same, alright?"

I hold her hands as I kissed her forehead

"Yes let's do that. We keep each other forever!" she rendered me a smile which made me smile as well

Look at how afraid
you were to be all alone

Look at how desperate
you were to keep me with you

Take a look at me now
lying in my bed
doubting of what you actually told me that day

I guess you never mean those,

Those were just lies because if they were actually true?

I'd still got you here with me and I'd never have a broken heart
