"But I'm over it. I have to be." I say, trying to convince myself

I didn't notice the look of uncertainty between the others in the room

"What exactly did Gloria need from you?" I turn, looking at Rebekah

Rebekah reached to touch her neck, and when she realized something wasn't there, she began to panic. I look at her in confusion. Rebekah started looking around the area and in the coffin.

"Nik, when you daggered me, I had on a necklace. Where is it?"

"Don't tell me that's what we need," Nik said in a low, dangerous voice

I sigh knowing this wasn't going to turn out well

Rebekah sped to her coffin and flipped it over in anger. The sound of the fallen coffin echoing in the storage unit.

"We'll figure all of that out later. Right now, Rebekah and I are going shopping for clothes, and both of you are coming." I say with a smile

I pull Nik in for a kiss and distracted him long enough so I could pull out his wallet. I break the kiss and walk back towards Rebekah, smiling and waving his wallet in his face.

"Thank you for your donation," I say with a smile, and he just rolled his eyes

Clothing Store

I usually hate shopping, but being with Rebekah made it tolerable. I pushed her into a stall and kept giving her clothes. I helped her try them on until I found the perfect one. A low-neck black dress that fitted her body perfectly.

"You look hot," I tell her

"Is that some sort of slang?" She asked, confused, looking at herself in the mirror

I just laugh and push her out of the stall in front of Nik and Stefan

"So, now women dress like prostitutes?" She said, gesturing to her dress

I scoff offended

"I happen to really like this dress," I say, voice high

I hear a noise coming from the boys, "What was that?" I say, glaring at them

"Nothing."

"I happen to think you look beautiful, Rebekah," Stefan said

If Rebekah could blush, her face would be as red as a tomato.

"Thank you, Stefan."

I just roll my eyes.

"Are we done?" Nik asked annoyed

"Why are you so grumpy?" Rebekah asked, walking in Nik's direction

"I needed something from you. Gloria could find out what's wrong with my hybrids. One thing. And you lost it."

"How could she have possibly lost it if she was in a coffin Nik?" I asked, annoyed, "A coffin that YOU put her in." I raise a brow

He didn't answer because he knew I was right. I smirk internally

He was lazily leaned back in the chair, drinking some champagne.

I walk up to him, took his glass, and drank in one gulp

Stefan got up and looked around the store before walking outside.

He comes back a few minutes later, and we just decided to go back to Gloria's Bar

Gloria's Bar

I immediately walk towards the bar and pour myself a scotch.

"Can you help find the necklace?" I ask Gloria taking a sip of my drink
