"I think you like me, you just don't know how to say it" he responds.

"Oh boy" Rory says. "What are you doing Friday night?" he asks.

"I'm busy" Rory answers. "What you gotta be back at the convent by 5:00?" he asks. "Please leave me alone" she tries.

"Alright we'll since you said please." He says walking away from her.

"These will be your partners for the rest of the semester so choose wisely. I don't want you coming to me begging me to let you switch partners because you just can't stand working with them" Victoria's teacher tells the class.

Students instantly get up and start moving towards there friends to work with, while Tristan goes to Victoria. "Hey Tori" he says to her.

"What did you just call me?" she asks laughing. "Tori, Victoria's too long" he says. "Ew, no one calls me Tori" she tells him.

"I do" he says with a smirk, "now how bout me and you work together?" he suggests.

"Not if you're gonna call me Tori the entire time" Victoria says smiling at him. "Do you talk to anyone else at this school?" he asks.

"My sister" she responds. "She in this class?" he asks. "No" she tells him.

"Good, then I get you all to myself" he says with his natural Tristan smirk.

Lorelai is in the kitchen talking to Sookie when Rory and Victoria walk in, Rory carrying too many bags.

"Oh! Behold in theaters now, the thing that reads a lot" Lorelai says as Rory drops all her bags. "Chocolate?" Rory asks for.

"Glass measuring cup" Sookie tells her, "Lorelai look" she then tells Lorelai wanting her to read a review for her. "Right, I'm sorry" Lorelai says. "Jeez, who's naked?" Victoria asks wondering why her mom and Sookie are so interested in that magazine.

"Uh, Lucien Mills food critic" Lorelai tells her.

"Yeah? How's his butt?" Rory asks. "No no he was supposed to do a review of the restaurant, Oh! here it is" Lorelai says.

"Is it- is it good? Is he mean? Should I cry?" Sookie asks. "The words divine, delectable, and delirious, don't begin to describe the delicious experience of dining at the Independence Inn. Ah I'm smelling a rave" Lorelai says. "Really?" Sookie asks.

"Only chef Sookie St. James could make a simple salad of hothouse tomatoes and assorted fresh herbs seem like a religious experience. Her lobster bisque is worth every sinful cream filled rich sip" Lorelai reads.

"See, I don't use that much cream. I just use a very concentrated lobster stock, and it really makes it" Sookie says. "Sookie, he's not here" Lorelai interrupts her bestfriend.

"Okay, go on" Sookie tells her. "The entrees are as heavenly as the starters, though the much lauded risotto was perfectly fine, it was the simple handkerchief pasta with brown sage in a butter sauce that sent me through the roof. Sookie this is unbelievable! I'm gonna have this framed for the dining room" Lorelai says. "Oh yeah, that'd be swell. Can I see that again?" Sookie says.

"Yeah" Lorelai says handing her the magazine and walking towards her daughters.

"We should celebrate tonight, huh. Girls on the town" Lorelai says. "I can't I have to study" Rory says.

"Me too" Victoria says. "I should really get started on this shopping list" Sookie says. "What is going on here? We are young and fiery women. Studying? Shopping lists? Where's to hell with it all? Where's throwing caution to the wind? Where- oh shoot, the linen delivery" Lorelai says leaving the room.
