"Tony, who have you been texting?" Pepper asked.

"Steve?" answered Tony, who was sitting on the couch. 

"I know your lying, Steve didn't figure out how to text yet." Pepper said.

"Damn, I should've said Bruce... the truth is I've been texting this kid-" Tony started to say.

"-Sounds creepy, honey." Pepper said.

"Let me please finish speaking. Ahem, so," Tony continued, "this kid was trying by to call a hotline, but his counselor gave him my number by accident. He called me and hung up after figuring out it was wrong, but since I'm such a kind man, I called back and made sure he was okay. He's a cute kid who's funny, I text to check on him."

"Still sounds a bit creepy, but also cute at the same time. Oh my god! You should give me his number." replied Pepper, who was now smiling.

"He's gonna think that we are both creeps." Tony said.

"He'll think only you are a creep, not me." teased Pepper.

Tony rolled his eyes and said, "Fine, copy his number on your phone." Tony gave Pepper his phone.

"Thank you, dear." Pepper said as she bent down to kiss Tony's cheek. Pepper copied the number and sat next to Tony.
