It was my turn to swallow the lump in my throat, as I nod my head and take his advice. I take in a deep breath and relax, trying not to notice Paul's hands on my hips as he also worked on controlling his breathing.

Sam couldn't help but crack a light-hearted smile, as he and Emily shared a brief look and chuckled.

"I think it's about time you told Eloise the truth, Paul." Sam finally said as he and Emily turned their attention back on us.

I raised my eyebrow, turning to look at Paul who had tensed up all over again and seemed uncomfortable.

"And what would that be, Paul?"

Paul sighed, beginning to open his mouth before we were all interrupted by Jacob Black.

"Did you guys forget we were supposed to meet up at the Cullen's for training how to fight the newborn vampires?" All of us, minus Jacob, who looked confused, let out a frustrated groan.

He meant well, I'm sure we all thought as a coping mechanism to not want to strangle him.

Though, Paul seemed relieved as he let out the air he had been holding and scratched the back of his head.

"Duty calls, I guess." I rolled my eyes at him, though couldn't help but blush as he sent me a wink.

I guess I'd have to wait to figure out what this so-called truth is, even if I didn't quite want to.

THE PACK HAD LEFT to meet up at the Cullen's home about an hour ago, and despite me agreeing to go home and wait for Paul to show up later to explain everything, I couldn't stop myself from growing impatient.

There was this foreign feeling inside me growing angry and restless over the unknown, and for a moment I wondered if that was how Bella felt the day she angrily tracked down Jacob because I soon found myself outside of the Cullen's home in an agitated state of mind.

I wasn't sure what came over me as I overheard the voice of Edward Cullen coming from a clearing just behind their home, but hearing the voice made me march through the woods with a determination I didn't understand.

The closer I get, the more I keep seeing weird flashes in my head like I was viewing the scene of Jasper Cullen fighting his siblings in a demonstration for the pack as they watched from the forest.

It made me sick to my stomach as my eyesight mixed with this new perspective, like it was trying to morph into one along the way. Causing me to sway a little as I walked, slightly stumbling over tree roots before shaking my head.

As I got closer to the voice of Edward Cullen, I heard him say something under his breath before I stumbled into the clearing they were in and let out all the contents in my stomach.

Visions of me falling to my knees and puking invaded my mind from somewhere in the forest, causing me to lift my head up and search for whoever it was that was watching me.

Sam stood tall at the head of the pack in his wolf form, a slight snarl on his face as he paid close attention to the Cullen's in case they made a sudden move.

Looking at him, I could tell by the angle I saw myself in that it wasn't him. I kept looking around, growing sicker and sicker before my eyes landed on Paul.

"Paul?" I whispered, my nose beginning to bleed as I grew exhausted.

The two of us widened our eyes before Paul let out a loud groan and seemed to be struggling to transform back into his human form without consent.

A/N: Hey! I hope you're enjoying this story so far!

I just want to leave this little bit of information, in case you guys are confused or slightly annoyed with how Paul and Eloise seem to react to each other.

It's for a reason.

Paul struggles to adjust to imprinting on Eloise because of the fact she is a witch, though neither of them knows or understands this. And because they are both supernatural beings, their senses and powers are heightened by each other. Which also heightens their hormones, causing them to be very intimately drawn to each other.

I hope that helps clear things up.

Please comment and let me know what you think of this story so far! I would really appreciate some feedback.
