[Book 5] Sofia The First: Dad's the Word

All is Okay

After 2 minutes of hugging, Leona and Garrick broke the hug as they looked up and saw a pelicant crying angrily at them, Garrick immediately picked up the egg and tried to climb up, but he is having a hard time doing it

"I'm not sure that I could climb up, and bring the egg at the same time" Garrick said as he slid back down

"we need a plan to get the egg back to the pelicants" he said as he and Leona tried to think of a plan, suddenly Leona had one

"I have an idea" Leona said as she took the egg from her father and started climbing a few distance from Garrick

"now dad, climb above me and I'll toss the egg to you" she said demonstrating her idea

"great idea" Garrick said as he climb up above Leona, then right after, Leona toss the egg to Garrick

they both did the strategy until Leona reached the top, "throw me the egg!" she called

"here you go!" Garrick called back as he tossed the egg to Leona

"I got it!" Leona said as she climb out of the gully

"I got your egg!" she told the pelicants as she gave them their egg, a pelicant came to her and gave her a hug to say thank you

Leona just hugged back the pelicant, "you're welcome mister pelicant" she said

the pelicant let go of the hug and flew away joining its family

Garrick had already climbed out of the gully while Leona went to the tree to see if everyone is alright

"you can come out now, it's safe" she told them

"you saved us, great job Princess Leona" Miss Elodie praised them

"yes you did, you...and your dad" Hildegard said smiling at the two Welshire royals

After a bit of celebrating, Roland took Leona and Garrick to the magic imprint tree to print their hands on it

"okay almost there....and done!...you two can remove you hands now" Roland said as Leona and Garrick removed their hands and saw their handprints on it

Garrick smiled ashe turned to his daughter, "now that's more like it" he told her as he hugged Leona

Everyone went back to the docks to ride on their canoes, but Garrick and Leona's canoe were destroyed...

"welp, there's only one problem left" Garrick said

"oh dear, I'm afraid there aren't enough room for both of you in our canoe your majesties" Miss Elodie said

"ours too" Roland added

Everyone else nodded

But Leona found another way to get across as she turned to Garrick, "don't worry dad, I got this" she said as she started to whistle....then right after, water zebras emerged from the water

"what's more fun of riding a canoe when you have new animal friends to helpyou?" Leona said as she and Garrick hopped on a water zebra and everyone went off

"Race you there honey" Garrick said as he sped off

Leona just rolled her eyes with no expression on her face (because she can't smile) as she followed her father.

Leona and Garrick were busy having a race and everyone just smiled at the two royals

"Garrick is so lucky to have a daughter like her" Roland said smiling at them

"they sure are" Sofia replied, "right Amber?" she asked her sister only to see that she is sleeping

Roland and Sofia just giggled at Amber

"look everyone! Bubbly Butterflies!" Miss Elodie said looking at the butterflies

everyone looked and they were amazed by it, Leona wanted to touch one as she reached out her hand and caused the butterflies to go near her and made a crown for her.

Miss Elodie saw this, "looks like someone made another new friends" she said.

Everyone saw Lena and Garrick with a lot of butterflies surrounding them and everyone just smiled at the lovely moment.

meanwhile with Hildegard....

"I want one! I want one!....daddy!" Hildegard begged

"Hildegard darling, I already told you a million times..........no!" Henrik said glaring at his daughter

Hildegard just groaned, "fine, then I'll get one myself!" she said as she tried to catch a butterfly

"Hildegard!" Miss Elodie called angrily

Hildegard tried to reach the butterfly at the end of the canoe only for her to fell and land on the water, which made her groan in disgust

"ew...daddy!" Hildegard said

Henrik went over to his daughter, "I already told you to conquer everything you want darling" he said reaching out his had to Hildegard

The Enchancian Royal's canoe passed over them, and Amber gave a smirk to Hildegard

"you deserved it Hildy" she said smirking at her

Hildegard couldn't help but groan in disappointment

"oh, do you know what it'll be more fun!?" Sofia asked

"A sing along!" Garrick and Leona chorused, "I was thinking the same thing!" they both chorused as music started to play as they continued riding on the water zebras.

After that Leona started to sing....

Leona: my dad and I, once had to try, to calm an angry herd

Garrick: so by aiming high and seeing eye to eye, we saved a baby....bird?

"it's a pelicant dad" Leona said rolling her eyes and Garrick just giggled

Garrick: Iggly, wiggly, woggly, woogly!
I love my daughter

Leona: Woogly, woggly, woogly, whoa!
I love my dad

both: Together we go zippy, zappy, ooter, utter, otter, booly, bolly, gooly, golly

Garrick: booly, bolly, gooly, golly

Leona: booly, bolly, gooly, golly....

both: gad!
