"Miss who?" Chris looked at me

"Man, don't play dumb. I know you still like her." I looked at her and coop dancing

"I do. It's obvious she don't feel the same way tho." He sighed

"To be honest with you man. Liyah been feeling you since Freshman year, you just never talked to her enough. I can't really say about now tho, it seems to me she really in deep with Shawn." I sighed knowing she was falling for Shawn and there was nothing I could do about it.

Liyah POV:

You're dancing with Olivia when you both notice Asher drinking. Y'all walked over to Asher having the same idea

*I don't like Asher but this nigga could miss the homecoming game for being caught with liquor*

"Maybe you should chill on the drinking" Olivia said taking away the flask

"Yeah for real ash. I don't like you but that don't mean I want you sacrificing the homecoming game." You looked at him

"I'm just getting started. What are you talking about?" He said

"Look, I recognize a downward spiral when I see one." Olivia said and I nodded in agreement

"No,no,no. See, y'all don't understand. I'm celebrating. Turns out Layla cheated with Spencer. We don't have anything else to feel guilty about anymore, so cheers." Asher said lifting up his flask. Me and Liv quickly looked away.

"Uhm Chile anyways so." You mumbled

"You already knew, didn't you" Asher asked Olivia

"Olivia" Olivia looked at him looking like she was finna cry so he got his answer.

"Did you know too?" He turned to me.

"Imma be real with you. I knew but I didn't see it happen." You shrugged

"I thought that yall were different. I thought we had each other's back but y'all are  just like everyone else.  Then Jaaliyah im keeping your secret and you felt the need to not tell me?" Asher started getting upset

"Ok hold up. First off Asher we ain't even friends. Second Im keeping multiple of your secrets so please shut up about loyalty Asher. Third I didn't even see it happen and I also have stuff going on in my life that you know nothing about. Ive been through so much shit then anyone has in a lifetime so do me a favor and leave me the fuck alone." You walked away trying to calm yourself down. Somehow, someway, you ended up on the hallway with coop and Spencer.

"Man, it's like "Dynasty" here." Coop said

"Right?" Spencer said then coop got a phone call (y'all are only gonna hear coop talking)

"Bro, what's good? How was the interview?

"See, I told you. What they got you doing?"

"That mean you can't meet swizz." Coop talked into the phone and your eyes widened.

"Ight, look, don't worry. I got you, Ight? Tyrone, He'll never know"

"I got you, man. Say no more."

"So what's up?" Spencer asked Coop

"I gotta go take of something. It's gonna help Shawn get out and me, too"

"Ight bet. I'll come with you" Spencer offered

"No. You can't. Ight, I just need you to trust me." Coop said

"Be careful." Spencer warned

"For real, coop. Don't be late cause if you are Tyrone won't be happy." You also warned her
