     "hey, leila," kalynn poke up, head laid turned on the others shoulder.

     the girl hummed in question, scrolling through crappy hotel tv shows. she waited for kalynn to talk patiently, yawning lightly.

     the lighting around them was dimmed, the only light coming from the tv, other than whatever light the window let in. it was only about ten o'clock, but everyone agreed it'd be an early night in order to get up early in the morning to look at houses.

   "i think i'm ready to tell the fans." she said tiredly, though with conviction.

     just by her tone, leila knew kalynn meant it.

     instead of making a big deal out of it, leila just turned her head slowly to meet kalynn's eyes. she nodded. "when do you want to tell them?" leila questioned lightly, not yet settling on a tv show. the remote in her hand otherwise laid limp.

     kalynn sniffled a bit, scrunching up her nose. "i think- tomorrow would be good." leila held back a look of surprise. "just because i won't be online that much- so i won't really have to deal with any negative reactions until saturday," she explained, glancing up at her girlfriend to see her reaction.

     leila nodded reassuringly. "it doesn't have to be a big thing if you don't want it to." she made sure to tell kalynn. "we could just post something on insta, maybe slip it into the caption?" leila suggested, shrugging.

     the older nodded. "i like that, yeah. i was thinking about putting a pride flag or something in my twitter bio," kalynn told her, yawning in the middle of it. "just something small to solidify it."

    smiling down at kalynn, the harper gave a small nod. "yeah, that's a good idea. but- we'll deal with it in the morning." leila poked kalynn in the shoulder. "for now, we have to sleep. i already set an alarm for tomorrow," the girl told kalynn, shoving the girl down to rest more comfortably in the bed.

      they drifted to sleep after that, small good nights exchanged. the tv played in the background quietly, leila having put it on a timer. kalynn shuffled further into the bed, closer to her girlfriend. in the morning, they would find themselves wrapped in the others embrace, not a care in the world.
